Remi Gauvin grew up in Nanoose Bay, BC and riding Mount Washington on Vancouver Island. Inspired by local legend, Jordie Lunn, Remi pursued DH racing and achieved Junior Canada Cup and National Champion status. He now races with teammate Kyle Sangers on the PerformX team out of Pemberton and Whistler racing locally and around the world. Last season, Remi got a taste of rubbing shoulders with the big boys at the Norway World Cup with a 37th place. It’s been a mixed bag so far for 2014 but Remi is healthy, riding well, and hungry to improve his results.
Pelle Gustavs, also a Vancouver Island resident, has been passionate about riding and filming since being a teenager watching movies by ‘The Collective’. An idea for a gravity oriented video brought Pelle and Remi together for this project. Pelle wanted to do something different so blew his filming budget on an original score by
Factor Eight.
