I do not ride this bike at all anymore it's been sitting for almost 2 years taking up space so it needs to go. I built this bike in 2009 and used to for 3 years. The only part it needs to be able to ride is a new star nut for the fork because the one in it now seems to pull out. There is a fair amount of surface rust on the handlebars since I bought them almost as a prototype so the paint wore off very easily. I was forced to do the open bath modification since they would not even compress at all, which seemed to happen to a lot of the 2008 DJ1 models, so the forks are pretty soft and it's hard to get them to stiffen up when adding air.
