if you just rode (well, for us mere mortals more like survived) what they did, you'd probably wanna high five everyone in sight for the rest of the day
yeah man, then i just watch this contour vid of big mountain-ing some slopes while riding the exercise bike and im all set! sweet! and i wont ever crash again! thanks bro! hahaha
Correct...but no one knows where that is... unless your name is caribooyj hahaha - i wish they had named it right too... i've rafted it a few times... amazing river!
No heli access at the river bank, the canyon is just too narrow. Doug picks up the riders by boat and drops them off upriver at a site that's heli accessible.
Also they were out there for a while. Boats will get them around to different zones so they can scope them out and see if they will work. The heli will just fly in and meet them at wherever they deem rideable. This is a lot different than the heli trips in say the AK where they can use the heli to scope one day and to ride another (ski/snowboard). A lot more prep. time is needed for mtbing.
Haha yeah its a whole different story in person. Just from personal experience, there's so many sketchy issues with what some of these guys hit that will never be made clear or explained on the screen.
Sorry for shouting, but to quote Phillip J Fry, "shut up and take my money!"
