Chromag Stylus 17.5"

$1600 USD
Do you feel like you're missing something in your life? Is riding not fun for you anymore? Does your massive 6" rig feel sluggish on anything but the steepest most technical descents? Does your XC bike make you want to quite riding and take up knitting? Let me make bikes fun for you again. Buy my Chromag. The fact that your looking at this ad shows that you already have at least an inkling of how awesome a purpose build all mountain hardtail can be. So rather then spout the benefits of riding half-rigid, Ill tell you why you should ride THIS half-rigid. This frame is almost brand new. You heard me right, only 40 miles of ride time on her with no crashes. This is a warranty replacement for my last frame that had a manufacturing defect. It's a 1X drive train. Alright so maybe I'm a couple season to late to try and pretend that 1Xs aren't common place but at least now you wont have to spend money on your own conversion. Pike Pike Pike Pike Pike Pike Pike Pike. I don't feel like I need to explain that one. When I built this bike I tried (within reason) to keep as much of the components manufactured on the continent, That means Chromag bars, stem, saddle clamp and White Industry hubs (the original frame that was warrantied was a Canadian built Chromag Samurai) 26" wheels. Ya I said it, you heard me right 26" wheels. It seems like when 650b came out everyone got all hot and heavy over it and forgot why we had ridden 26 for the past 30 years. I'm not bashing bigger wheels, but there are just somethings that they're not as good as 26" on. The super aggressive geometry of this bike makes it blast as a do everything bike, and I mean everything. This bike rallies the long XC rides just as well as it does racing slalom and pump tracks. The kind of versatility that is only possible on little wheels. So now I'll give you the specs and let you give me your money. Frame: 2014 Chromag Stylus 17.5 Cromoly Fork: Rockshox Pike 150mm solo air (Travel adjust is major lames) Bars: Chromag Fubar 780mm Stem Chromag Ranger 50mm Brakes: Shimano XT (The Best) Grips: Sensus Disisdabos (The devil is in the details) Seatpost: Rochshox Reverb 125mm external routing Hubs: White Industries MI6 black Rims: Srans Flow ZTR Spokes: DT Swiss Competition 2.0/1.8 Cranks: Shimano XT Rear Derailer: Shimano XT Shadow Plus Front Derailer: HA no way. Cassett: Shimano XT (New) Chain: Shimano XT (New) Tires: Maxxis Minion DHF 26x2.4 Headset: Cane Creek 40 series (New) Chain Ring: Raceface Narrow/Wide 32t Saddle: Fizik Gobi Wingflex Seatpost Clamp: Chromag Rear Skewer: Hope Bottom Bracket: Shimano external (New) This is a fully bitchin hard tail. Make it yours. Also it's steel. And steel is real. The wear marks on the fork are a result of loading and unloading onto a North Shore Rack. They're are only cosmetic and do not extend any deeper then the paint. I've recently been alerted that the pictures make it look like the frame is rusty. That is not the case, there is a little bit of residual dirt leftover from the one and only ride that the bike had. I will update asap with new pictures once I clean the dirt off. NO RUST.
