@ihatton929: Thank you for clairifying, I am not fond of how these things turn into electric bike bashing, to me a motorcycle is a motorcycle and there are clearly places they can and cannot be used.

@ihatton929: Do you know for sure this took place on a specific trail? Looks like a dirt road to me and could be anywhere out in that desert. I dont know the area so I am honestly asking, but really are we sure this was not a multi use area where dirt bikes (of any power source) are maybe permitted? Not dismissing the jerks actions!! Takeing off he deserves whats surely comming his way!!!
I am only commenting on his use of a motorcycle in that area and if we are truly sure he was in the wrong place.

@squarewheel: It was my understanding that there was no effective genetic difference in all Ursus arctos versions.
The differences were due to geography, diet etc
However its been a while since I was involved in taxonomy so things do change.

Ursus arctos
There is only one other bear that is brown in color and that is the Kodiak.

Ya I disagree. The movement and aggressive charge.. nothing there said fake to me. Griz view everything for a hundred yards of themselves as their territory. Bikes going thru have a good chance of being chased off.... I would have rather been the guy in the front than the guy in the back really. The grizzly was not looking for a meal or he would not have gone after something that was fast moving going down hill. That was simply a "get outa my area!" charge. The guy in the back could have been turned onto and munched as the bear could have seen him as showing aggression by thinking that bike was chasing the bear..... OOO that would be bad....

I am impressed.
Yes I would ride that. Prefer the conventional front fork to last years pictures of this bike.
Now outfit it 11x1 enduro like and tell me how much the final product weighs in at....
One thing I don't like is the seat post setup, not sure if it would fit a dropper in that short area.....
