The next year 2013 model with better parts is 50 quid cheaper, brand new from CRC, any size you want. Think you need to get real with the price..

Your man Neil Stewart has some style about him, so wild and loose in those greasy conditions. Be good watching him progress over the next few years. Good team vid all round.

I think it's less about the routing than the amount of excess cable dangling down in that area. They could keep the routing that way but maybe add a downtube/cable protector or cover to keep them out of the way and from getting damaged.

A Peek Into Privateer Life On the World Cup DH Circuit
Ah right Dave, thanks for clearing that up. Didn't read some of the above comments fully, thought they meant for riders in top 80 the privateers get less practice than those on full team set-ups, which didn't sound right to me.

I think he means that they could be caught up doing other things like organising pit space, van broke down and late to venue, washing gear, shopping for groceries etc. I know good organisation would eliminate lots of these but riders on factory team set ups can just turn up and get on track as soon as track opens without having to be bogged down with the other details. That's the benefits of being fast as fook I suppose!

First Ride: Scott's New Gambler and Voltage FR
That the was the main (and only) drawback that I had noticed on the voltage - gotta get that seatpost cut absolutely right as no room for adjustment, other than that the bike looks sweet as.

A lot of people find Saint brakes too grabby and Zee a better happy-medium. So the option to have them is possibly due to this and for budget concerns so they can offer the full build at lower price.

That is probably one of the sweetest looking tracks I've ever seen. Sick skills.
