Rex means "King". Dinosaur and all affiliated notes... point directly to my old 1977 banana bike.

Wow, I can't believe I missed this whole thing.
As a designer, the naming of products typically follows an associated convention - a rationale if you will.
Given I've missed the research component of this (history + trajectory), I would have to limit my response to purely aesthetics and fundamental meanings. But before I provide a response, I would remind people that the company who produces this product must also be accountable to themselves as much as their customers. Automakers go through a far deeper process, as their products are sent all over the world. The end result comes down to only two things: Does the name imply the correct meaning, and does it offend anyone.
Chinook: I like this. I has a lot to offer in parallel the themes.
Choice: Far too subjective and holds next to no specific meaning.
Cure: Again, relative connotations without focus.
Insomnia: (correct spelling) Here we have a disconnect of unrelated meanings, and please don't defend this name while using the word "cool" (another subjective meaning).
Karma: While names such as this are easily paired to this type of product, I also means it's likely popular ... as in already used.
Primal: While this might be applicable to the "first" product of a new company, the stigma it carries is not where I'd recommend.
Roots: Sorry, I just get an image of a green sweater, or a soft-drink.
Sequence: Have you ever started a sentence with "Anyways..."? Same idea. It needs more.
Shiva: Here is the dangerous one. While the name may be obscure to our culture (and therefore cool), it represents a marketing catastrophe on a global scale. Even locally, this name could get the company into real trouble with local ethnic cultures. Run away from this... please.
Had I been around when suggestions were gathered, I think I would propose: Terra Bow.
It looks like a bow. It's a precise instrument, and dynamic in form.
Just my professional opinion though.

Apr 26, 2011Wanted: Rear Triangle
$50 CADI'm building a recumbent trike and I'm hoping to save myself a lot of work fabricating a rear triangle. If you have a rear triangle (shock not necessary) that you don't mind parting with, I might be able to make use of it. I prefer condensed style (no seat stay) or anything with a single pivot and a shock link (Like a Giant VT)
It doesn't have to be pretty, just inexpensive.
