Lot of opinions here...good stuff folks...different opinions are what makes life interesting....I respect all of them..both for and against what we are trying to achieve here. To answer some personal points made. I am not Republican....I'm not involved in politics. I'm ok with people seeing me with a "Black Spot" on my career if thats how they do ...... I'm still involved with the bike industry following my passion, and now have the opportunity to be producing something that I am extremely proud of...These bikes are a lot of fun to ride...Thats my Goal to make fun affordable bikes for people to ride.

First Look: Hyper, SRM, Kitsbow, Spank - Sea Otter - 2013
Hey guys...EC here... I am the guy heading up the line of high end stuff for Hyper Bicycles....So some quick info to answer a few questions. The Slope and All Mtn models are prototypes...The initial testing has been great but they are still prototypes that need some time on them before we put them out for production. Our goal is to have production models available for Interbike..please remember that is our GOAL not a firm date. The Slope and All Mtn models that have been featured on here in the last week will not be available at Wal-Mart. We are looking at a direct to dealer sales model to help save on overall cost....So you would find these at dealers. We also will have a DH model prototype some time around July....Hopefully in time to bring up to Whistler during Crankworx. Our website is being revised to include all these new models and as we finalize production we will be posting more info on them. Last....With these new models we are trying to produce high quality fun bikes at an affordable price....Thank you to the people that can see that and are supportive of our goals.

What an awesome weekend....Great turn out and weather... We were stoked to see that everyone was really happy with the layout and the trails....gotta say Thanks to the guys at Suspended....They did a really good job on catching the vibe of the weekend and turned this edit out over night in less then 18 hours. There is a small audio issue with the voice over stuff in the first minute if you are watching it on a mobile device....We tried to figure it out but ultimately we had to make a choice of not putting this up at all due to time restraints for race reports going up on PB or putting out like this. Hope you all enjoy.

Unsanctioned Races - For Amateurs Only?
I see this as an opportunity.... Pro riders will go to events that are deemed valuable and dictated to attend by the ones paying the bills (sponsors). If the bigger companies that spend loads of money on supporting riders and events through sponsorship and tech attendance, decided to utilize the financial power they have by supporting new, non sanctioned events, worked with media to generate content and coverage on those events and had the riders and teams attend the given events.... I think this whole thing would be a non issue really. IMO...UCI, USA Cycling and any other governing body do not create the value.....The riders attending the events, the companies filling out the tech area's and the coverage of the events is the value. I am a former World Cup rider that is now in a Brand Manager/Marketing position as well as promoting my own series of Enduro's in So Cal. and the key for me is exposure. It is not very important who the promoter of the event is...As long as it's professionally done, the riders are having a good time (meaning the event will organically grow) and exposure is generated. The biggest issue I see in the states is having a professional series that is truly national...we just don't have it. UCI and USA Cycling currently have the best attended by top Pro rider events. As an industry we have elevated these current series to the status they are at....Meaning it can be done with others. I think it would only take a few big companies to shift event sponsorship and attendance from events and pull riders form the given series for a big shift to happen. We actually did it with Norba....Anybody remember how almost over night the Deer Valley tech area went from overflowing to only needing the top lot.

PCA Enduro: The Socal Race Series
Thank you Sprockets for the kind words of encouragement....I was lucky to be approached by Robert Herber to do this with him, I don't think either of us could do it to its potential without the other....The response has been really good and we are excited. Warthog....Glen Helen should be a lot of fun...the trails there will give a unique experience and feel...it isn't as big as our other two announced venues in elevation but there are lots of trails with moto whoops on them.... On a MTB these small sections feel like a giant gravity feed pump track. Look forward to seeing you out there.

Exclusive: Cam Zink signs with Hyper Bicycles
fatlarry.....good question.....not mortgage the house can mean different things to different folks. I am not going to throw numbers out here now, those will be available when we actually have bikes to sell to customers....I will say $1k frame with shock is a tough number to hit...there are some out there doing it, but the quality standard and performance we are looking to achieve with our first products offered I believe will be above a price point you are mentioning here. What I do know is that we won't be doing $4000 frame sets or $7000 completes. The bikes will be high quality, able to with stand abuse and supported by the brand if there are warranty issues. We are excited about what have planned and the program we are putting together...but really now its time for us to put our heads down and show the consumer instead of tell the consumer how good Hyper is going to be. Thanks again for everyone on here chiming in...the good and the bad, its all good...to the supporters thanks for being open minded, to the non supports thanks for giving us extra motivation to make our dreams reality.

*The bikes, Everyone is correct when they say the bike shown is Cam's old Corsair bike, it is the closest product to what ours will be that is available for him to ride. This is a work in progress, the Hyper bikes will Utilize the same UNIT system with Industrial design changes to make them Hypers...yada yada I know...u all have heard it before...flame on and insert comments here about other companies blowing it by doing this, haha. I will make no claims to what time frame they will be out, only to let people down later...I can say the process is much simpler and quicker then starting from scratch and developing a bike..a lot of the steps of the process have already been gone through with the UNIT technology. Was or is it a mistake to make such a big release without product to sell? maybe.... everyone will have an opinion on that...but the fact is we saw the opportunity to grab Cam and the technology he has won on. It is much easier for us to answer questions to you guys here this way then to have him show up unannounced on a Hyper or Hyper branded frame and have the speculation go crazy everywhere.

Hey everyone...EC here, thanks for all the interest and comments here, the good and bad. It all gives me the opportunity to explain a little more. So i will address a few issues I see most focused on here. *Wal-Mart/ Big box...Again we sell bikes in Wal-Mart and will continue to do so, there are many uses for bikes in the world and not everyone can afford high end bikes. The big box bikes are a completely different product offering from Hyper. Hyper wants to get more people active and out on bicycles...HIgh end or Big Box, which speaks directly to me. I grew up in a household with little money and started riding bikes on a bike from Toys-R-Us...I am so thankful to have been able to find my passion of two wheels instead of a stick and ball sport, All of it due to my parents being able to afford a big box bike. Am I to assume that everyone who has something negative to say about bikes in Wal-Mart also drives a Mercedes Benz, wears a Tag, and only uses the highest end camera when they are out on the family picnic? I will be posting more responses...if you all have any questions fire em off and I will do my best to answer them. Thanks Again.
