The charm of the new is what keeps the world running. It makes us look forward into the future: craving for the next ride, the next adventure, or this new issue: For you, we tested a bunch of new bikes from 2013 and 2014. We went on some adventurous trips to Romania, Switzerland, and Heidelberg, exploring the known and unknown in a new way! We will dig into psychology, evaluating what is necessary for a fun ride. Is it the speed? Is it the trails? Or the excitement of facing new challenges - just like in enduro racing? You'll read and find out or have your own opinion. It was much, much better when it was in PDF. Does anyone else find new online viewer annoying ?
I can already see it on trails: so that bike of yours... it's not an Enduro bike, but it's ain't XC either? It's like an XC bike with big fork? So you can't shred like Enduro bikes and you can't uphill well either? That makes no sense dude... buy a 6" bike, you can do everything with it
Then to remain fair, I think it has it's positive side, because racing will sort out what's bullshit and what isn't, just as it happens with 26" vs 650B now. BS will never disappear but people already got a point of reference. I am sure that there will be good "Enduro" labeled products that will be very useful for all of us (proper mountain bikers haha! - JK) and they will come to us earlier than if "Enduro" wasn't here. Wide & light rims, new casings, new droppers, maybe even the gearbox! I think XX1 (or single ring setups in general), Clutch mechs, Sram trail brakes, would not be here without pliable ground.
BTW, This is f*cking hilarious!
