Sometimes i think that ,there are people who just disagree to be different from others, it's ridiculous when they do it using random and ignorant arguments, that shows the lack of knowlege about the subject. To properly form an opinion, search for information , and if you can't obtain it just keep quiet because otherwise you just make a fool of your selves . This is just my opinion.

what you guys should know is that the minimum wage ,is about 500 euros per month. A good downhill bike costs about ten times more. furthermore you don't know his real story ... of course the bike parts aren't the same , but i know him ,and his frame is the same since he was 13 like he said on the video, and the parts that he upgraded to were some low cost parts . like we say in Portugal " isso é tudo dor de cotovelo".

You can have your opinion about who should win or not, but about the trails i think you're a bit wrong because i live in Madeira and there are some sick trails for sure , you can't form a proper opinion about something with that relative small sample. furthermore i don't think this contest it's about who's worthy or not, it's about passion for the sport, and what inspires people to ride, and i think Filipe has it all and that's why people are so exited about him. But it's just my opinion, don't get me wrong .

I think that's not a problem anymore , because one of the viewers of his video have already created a forum where people can donate their spare parts , in case he wins the Glory frame. And they gave away almost every parts needed to make that Giant frame rock! So "Giant" People, Filipe has got to win !

Last Day to Enter: 'Ride Giant. Ride Whistler' contest!
I'm a big friend of Filipe that Portuguese rider that you guys have been talking about , and i can ensure you that seeing him riding live it's even more amazing than it looks on the videos, it's really mindblowing what he can do on that bike. furthermore , for him to get that level of skill on that bike took some nerves of steel and more importantly passion for the sport, and from what from what i understood that's what this competition is all about . best of luck to every participants .
