Video: How Bad Can They Be!? We Review Each Other's Personal Bikes
Very interesting! Why is it that removing the anodization weakens the part?

Opinion: Group Rides Are the Worst
Forum post? Mmm, more like an op-ed. Can't see any reason why it shouldn't be content.

Oct 1, 2021Ibis Ripley AF NGX
$4000 CADRare size Medium Ibis Ripley AF in the NGX build
I received the bike in May and have been riding it this summer season. A few small scuffs and blemishes, but overall in excellent condition.
I switched to metallic brake pads but will include the original organic ones which still have 50% or so wear left. Wheels are set up as tubeless.
The bike now has an MSRP of $4500
Feel free to ask me any questions! Cheers
Pedals will not be included.

Field Trip: Ibis's $2,999 Ripley AF is a Precision Weapon
Agreed. The G2r brakes on my Ripley are utterly terrible. Will try the metallic pads for more power - but without contact adjustment I don't think they can be made to feel good.

$1300 CADSize medium, Reynolds 520 Chrome-moly (the good stuff)
Fox fit fork, Shimano brakes (deore?), Dropper post, and brand new WTB ST I25 wheels with continental race king tires - 1 ride use.
Set up as a single speed mountain bike, but with the included rigid fork and wheel, it can be built into a killer gravel bike. Also included is 2 spare sets of geared drop outs (single speed dropouts currently on bike).
Only had 4 rides on it before I broke my hand! Everything excellent condition, except for the fork - which needs a rebuild and new seals.
