Notice how there is no set date for Rampage. I hope this is because they will set the date according to a good weather forecast.

 two things:
1) why arern't there any events in the uk?
2) wtf happened to Chatel mountain style?
  • 2 1
For chatel mountain style, the talented and motivated builder's team who shaped the face and lot of chatel's tracks had left chatel!Frown
The new team is much less involved:they just maintain actual tracks!Frown

and as for the uk.....we have no freeride spots of that calibre, can you imagine them holing it at the freeride park at the top of cwmcarn or something haha. its a real shame tho Frown maybe bike bark wales can sort something out with the sponsors???

WHAT happenned to Chatel ? due to bad weather the last couple times, Chatel, decided to stop the event for a while, and think about a new way to do it. in order No rider gets robbed if (when?) the weather turns bad.

I was at chatel mountain style in 2012 and the weather was perfect for qualifying but farly terrible for finals so they just went with the quali scores but assuming the weather is gonna be bad there all the time seems a bit stupid

I'm excited about the Prime Line Gold Event in Munich at last years' X-Games location. Swatch got themselves a second event besides RocketAir - a sign for good things to come!

So stoked the rumors about them changing the rampage location aren't looking true. That is the one event I cannot miss.
  • 4 1
I think there should be a new rampage location.
  • 1 1
Move it to where? I believe that was part of the whole.. Where the trail ends thing. There were some sweet areas in that movie, but Utah looked the best for an event like Rampage.
  • 13 0
My hope is that they move it somewhere else in Virgin, the current location is pretty tapped out. Rampage could use some fresh lines.
  • 2 0
 Thank you.
  • 1 0
Yeah I meant moving it from Utah but a new site would be awesome. I heard rumors of it going to the Gobi Desert.
  • 1 0
The current location is really tapped out.
  • 2 0
Same talk like last year. "Everything has been ridden in this place, meh, meh, meh" And then the riders again found many new creative lines, like strait's, t-mac's, etc. so just stop whining about it.
  • 3 2
As always, the Slopestyle World Championships are in August at Crankworx, and the Freeride World Championships are at Rampage in Virgin. Those are the only two events I care about, the rest is just filler.
  • 2 0
 Just filler no killer
