Video: Digging the Lenzerheide World Cup Track - The Final Test
i also rode hafjell WC track...comparing to that, i think it is kind of similar (at least for the "mix of everything" part)...lenzerheide is just steeper over all, but shorter..also means the tech sections are a bit shorter, too. there are 4-5 different steeper tech/gnar sections. like i said it really is a very fun track!! just have small doubts that it will be very very demanding for the WC riders if they leave it like it was at the swiss cup last year (dont expect a val di sole like track with those neverending root and rock sections)...people like windham too and it is not the gnarliest track out there and probably has a similar length like lenzerheide. so dont hate in advance. i think it will be a great world cup anyway.

I Rode the track Last year..my First race ever.nastiest weather and conditions as u can See in the vid... I ride 6 years dh now and i dont think the track is too demanding for a wc Rider... Tech sections are Rough and partly very steep but i think they are a bit Short. I like the track, though. has a bit of everything. Roadgaps are ok big up to 3-4 m high, they are fun... But like i Said they Should make it a Little more techy for the wc...of course i was Almost 1min 30 sec slower than brendan and peaty, so it must be different to ride at higher Speeds, but anyway, We will see.

this vid show the track the best..at least how it was 1 year ago. some jumps werent hit due to the deep mud...it is a lot steeper than the video shows..but we all know that i guess. conditions couldnt have been nastier on raceday (next day after this) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFddSQ2djO0

that is not a good video showing the track...i caed my very first race there in hobby class last year...i thought there were som,e good gnarsections...but for the pros i thought it could be gnarlier..but maybe it is a matter of speed...fairclough and peaty were 1min 30sec faster than i. there are also lots of bikepark turns...but all in all i find it a really nice track to ride and i like it..good mix of everything. some of the gnar sections are maybe a bit short.

I rode my first dh race on that track last year in hobby class...i like the track it has a some really gnar sections and a bit of everything a dh rider asks for. but i think there are gnarlier tracks on the wc to be honest...depends maybe also on the speed i think...i was almost 1min and 30sec slower than brendan fairclough and Peaty on a 2km track.says it all ;-) my hands suffered like hell. not used to ride a track in one go. but still i think there are gnarlier tracks...and it is pretty short (2km) if they dont extend it. i am very curious what the wc guys will do there.
