First Ride: Promising New Suspension Design From an Unlikely Source
Why go trough all of the troubles of designing a new linkage system that will behave almost exactly like a single pivot? Having the IC follow the chain line is exactly what a single pivot does. The whole point of wanting a virtual pivot point is to have the anti squat high around the sag point and low anywhere else. DW link is prime example of that. IC starts around the chain line and migrates towards the bb. (position sensitive anti squat). Showing an antisquat curve without showing the resulting pedal kickback curve is simply misleading. Also where is the shock leverage curve ? Does anyone design a bike using IC offset curves? missing the big picture

Is Polygon's Square One EX9 the Elusive 'One Bike'? - Review
@mikelevy: Do you think all of that traction comes from less low speed compression and a rear triangle with more flex? How did it pump terrain and how did it corner berms? How did it bunny hop? ( these events require more lsc) It seams to me any design out there could just be tuned with less LSC and high antisquat and achieve the same results....but I havent riddent one yet

The Tuesday Tune Ep 16: Bump Compliance and Harshness
I think the bottleneck for how fast you can run your rebound is on jump faces/g -outs. If I ride choppy terrain ( rocks, roots, braking bumps) I speed up the rebound another 1-2 clicks but then the bike is a bit unpredictable on jump faces.( not getting bucked but a bit inconsistent) For riding a trail with a mix of choppy and larger jumps, then you have to compromise and run a click or 2 slower. Also if I ride in the wet, I usually slow down the rebound a click or two, I find more traction that way

The Tuesday Tune Ep 4 - Springs vs Dampers - Video
@VorsprungSuspension: So on rought terrain with a mix of square edged impacts and drops/jumps it would be preferable to run light HSC but to use the volume spacers to control bottom out ? Can you point out a few examples where it would be preferable to use more HSC and a more linear spring and vice versa?
