Is everyone blind? Erik Henrickson - Green River, Utah was by far the most gnar and original poop my pants awesomeness!! absolutely sick!!

Agree! Nice line scary drop. I felt it. Home trail was #2; it has been a hot summer.

totaly coregt it woud be so scary
  • 7 5
It was the exact line KC rode for this contest last year. I'm voting for Vinny. That was nuts.

 @scott-townes:

ah, haha it was!!... well guess that kinda ruins it for me. still sick though, will have to cast my vote for someone else then.

guess from this batch then my new #1vote is for Steve Storey - Love Meat Ender, Whistler

Hmmmmm... funny I recognize that drop. I wonder who built that landing? My guess is it took roughly 2 1/2 days, using a pry bar and pick axe to break the rock. hahaha But actually
  • 4 0
 And Erik Henrickson isn't pro!!
  • 4 0
@KCDeane: Thanks for building it dude, just pumped to ride some of the same stuff as you
  • 4 1
@ehenrickson: How big is that last drop? Pretty ballsy.
  • 4 0
@scott-townes: thanks dude! I was thinking 17-20 ft ish, just had to fall off the end of it ha
  • 5 1
@scott-townes: The drop isn't too huge, but the take off is under 12" wide. so once you start it's full commitment. Very well done
  • 4 1
@KCDeane: and Henrickson, welp that's friggen big and such a tight takeoff. It reminds me of the NSX films, haha.
  • 4 1
@ehenrickson: So stoked for you Erik! That edit turned out great!
  • 3 1
@KCDeane: But actually, Mother Earth has been working on that cliff for thousands of years, "two days" building a landing is nothing.

It seems like very few of these really involve quickly choosing a good (and exciting) line, which I thought was the goal of the contest. That being said, I think "Home Trail" does the best job of capturing the spirit of the contest.

Mission Failed, We'll Get Em' Next Time

Anyone who doesn't think Vincent Tupin wins with that video obviously hasn't ridden in snow before.
  • 2 0
 @Dethphist: Exactly my thought process
  • 2 0
Vincent Tupin - awesome snow riding!
  • 1 0
@Dethphist: So true. You have to really respect how incredibly hard riding in snow is and I wouldn't even ride that trail in the summer!

Why are pro sponsored athletes allowed to be entered into this? I mean at least half these guys are professional riders that already get paid to make videos like that...Pilgrim, Vinny T, Deane, Smage Matthews....maybe more are, but those are the ones I know are already pros. Just seems a bit odd is all.
  • 4 0
For real though! That's why I'm voting for @ehenrickson
  • 9 4
Looks like I'm not going to enter this year, at least as long as they expect us to compete against pros riding competition/pro built courses. They just need to change the rules or have 2 categories. Pro Category and Intermediate Category. Just think, if all the Fest Series Guys start posting their "lines" then everything but Rampage is going to lose. But it would be cool to have pros have their own and we can judge the best pro line ever.
  • 3 1
I feel ya here but, the "pro" rider doesnt always have to win, right!!! As long as you have something coool fun, an good flow, theres always a chance that the people might choose us...none pro's..haha ! I want to enter too, but i need that thing called RAIN.
  • 2 0
@Bdusty1: Come take the rain away from me. We have been building a line and it has been raining every weekend for almost the whole summer. Like too much rain where you cant pack the line cause you end up with dirt made high heels and leaving holes everywhere you step. Plus the mosquitos are nuts! I am rushing to finish the line so I can shoot, but the rain is keeping us from finishing and riding it.
  • 1 0
@shilohtech: ok, ill talk to my feathered friend later! hahah, but dam, yea that would suck..too much rain does suck!
  • 7 0
@ehenrickson being not a pro, with no sponsors, and riding a pro line, built by one of the best pro riders @KCDeane (respect), he definitely has my vote. Wahoooo!!
  • 4 0
@ehenrickson Erik Henrickson isn't riding a full DH bike either, PROPS!!
  • 8 0
That snow run! Last time I rode in the snow I slid right into a tree.
  • 3 0
 Was it fun?
  • 7 1
Tomasz Profic - Kazoory 4X - his dog cuts corners just like mine! cheaters!
  • 10 2
I'm convinced that clip is only in the top 10 because of the corner cutting doggo, otherwise it's just a clip of a guy casing small jumps on a sketchy bmx track...
  • 8 0
I couldn't help but cringe a bit on it. That's how your dog gets hit, and hurt. As much as a cool video of a tiny little yipper dog shredding, dogs should stay behind the bike. My dog loves to ride, but knows its place is in the back of the bike (except on climbs).
  • 1 0
@jasbushey: I know that, but he must be first Wink
  • 2 5
the dog video was lame, theres much better ones out there.
  • 5 0
@jasbushey: my dog only needed to get buzzed once by the tire to learn her lesson - when she does cut corners she waits until I ride by, she also stays behind on the climbs but I'll admit when I take her out I do climb faster and descend much slower to better match her pace. That being said 'Erik Henrickson - Green River, Utah' got my vote
  • 2 0
The dog had all the inside lines.
  • 3 1
Like them all, but my top 3 are: Sam Pilgrim: very clean, smooth, technical run! Very talented! Steve Storey: For technical trail run, POV is very smooth, not jarring! Pleasant calm view for an action ride. Vincent Tupin: Wow! Winter wonderland! I've would of crashed multiple times! Smile

WTF is lc deane video doing there !! Its so shitty, only pros .... Judges SUCK
  • 4 0
 not pro!
  • 4 0
@ehenrickson for sure. Not pro and dropping lines like that. Weekend warrior bad ass has my vote.
  • 4 0
Erik Henrickson @ehenrickson - while not a pro is making it look like one! He takes my vote!
  • 4 1
Kazoory was awesome! If they do it again, they should get the dog mount for a wild POV
  • 1 0
Tried it, but without any gimbal it's not watchable.. maybe on bigger fella Wink
  • 1 0
Yeah it was great. Cute little baddass yapper!
  • 1 3
With this rat? No, sorry. And, ofc, sorry for my homie for treatening our awesome trails with this ... ermm.. kinda animal. Or something.
  • 4 0
@ehenrickson pretty nuts????! Keep it up!!!
  • 3 1
I see what you mean dudes BUT Sam is a proper L4D so we'll let him off Big Grin #OiOi
  • 3 0
The dog in the Tomasz vid should race enduro with those french lines Smile
  • 3 1
The dog was only able to corner like that because it was on 26" wheels.
  • 1 0
oh i see what you did there- 'love me tender' . . . tricky canadians. looks super fun, probably more so when it's in focus.
  • 1 0
0:23 first tracks through the snow on a jump line with skinnies. I'm not a winter rider but that was sick. Go Tupin
  • 1 0
Mark Matthews - Isle of Skye was cool too.
  • 2 2
Vinny T stands out to me.
