First Look: Marzocchi's New Super Z 38mm Fork

@iseaweed: About 2 years ago I came across a Z1 with very straight casting. Was a 140mm air model. About 1h later it had new bushings, a coil system and a grip 1.5 upgrade (Grip 2 compression assembly + revalved rebound). One of my favourite forks.

Who cares about bushing play as long as spare parts are available? Oh yeah, right. There are non. Your expensive rock shox fork is a throw away item once they are worn and you are out of warranty.

Yep, strong Storia-Vibes with everything about the reservoir bridge and adjusters, however: different shim ID, different piston diameter, different shaft diameter. So the internals are propably completely different and from their own design.

@vinay: One is shaft velocity, one is force. However this is a marketing graph and very misleading. One could argue that it is useless shit to appear "technical" by also being complete BS. (normally those graphes are made up by pushing the shock through different shaft velocities with acceleration and deceleration forces clearly visible. What they did is a "peak velocity pickoff" value from different shaft speeds and pushed a graph through it, then photoshopped the fuck out of it.)

same with fox, had to burnish tons of forks out of the box. However, at least you get replacement bushings from fox. The ZEB ist basically a throw away item with extended use and worn bushings.
