Guess there is going to be lots of ladies on the mountain this weekend. See you girls out there!

Over the years my wife has put up with me watching mountain bike videos and taking weekend trips to Highland with the guys. Just recently she surprised me with the statement "me and the girls were talking and we want to try ridding at highland".... I was shocked! I never would have thought she had any interest in it at all! Her and her girlfriends are going to do the "find your ride" program at Highland in July, and I could not be more excited! Its great to see more woman getting into the sport!

This is great to see, but note to Highland: run your press releases more than a day before the event!

Maybe next year...

$225 per day is super steep... The lift ticket is $40 and the lunch is an $8 burrito.
