Opinion: Further Faster - Thoughts on the Coming E-Ride Revolution
Electric bikes is like a gas powered sail boat. Doesn't make sense to me. If you dont want to pedal, find a different hobby. For commuting i get it, but not the mountain, and not for me at all.

First Ride - SRAM X1 Drivetrain
For all the debate about which company makes the best parts, I see a lot of SRAM drive trains with Shimano brakes. Never seen a Shimano drive train paired with SRAM brakes.

ProVisions 5 - Strava Unbound
I've been using Strava for over a year now, and I'll admit its been fun, made me faster etc... It also took some fun out of my rides, since I was killing myself trying to get KOM's. After I got them I took it easy and it was fun again. Now I'm see my KOM's and others being crushed my huge margins that I can't even come close to. I know dirt bikes are to blame in some instances. So I think the KOM should be remove in hopes that cheating douche bags will go else where. I live in hawaii, and we don't have nearly as many races as the lower 48 does, strava was like a silent race for me, but now it can piss off.

Megavalanche - Men's Final Results and Photos
"Unless you were running XX1, or had the legs to turn a big ring, the end of the glacier was all about the aero tuck." I'm pretty sure that comment was sponsored by SRAM. Didn't know that only XX1 could get you down the mountain. Your bombing a steep mountain, I think XTR 2x10 would work just fine. Besides their going so fast they could easily spin the biggest rings available.
