Nov 28, 2016Clunker Mountain Bike Retro BMX Cruiser Mashup
$500 USDHowdy from Western Colorado.
Stem- BMX style
Bars- Also BMX, and white.
Grips- Oury Slip-ons.
Cranks- Raceface DH with Crystal Clear e-thirteen basher.
Pedals- Serious Bear Traps
Saddle- White leather with Copper Rails 'n Rivets
Post- To be honest, its a fake Thompson. If it had the laser etching... you'd never know (its pretty nice)
Chain- White KMC SS
Tires- There's some knobbies on there after I skidded the $hit out of the factory rubber.
This is a mountain bike. It stomps. The wheels are solid, and the coaster brake lays some tracks. It's fun as hell. I still have the factory steel fenders if you want them.

Sram X9- 2x9 Drivetrain

Chris King RASTA headset
Crank Brothers Joplin
Azonic 45mm Stem
Sette 7 Riser Bars
Oury Clamp On Grips-black
NEW Avid trail 7 brakes and 180mm rotors
WTB saddle
The bike rides very responsively. It gobbles downhill. Climbing prowess is enabled by the fork's ability to limit travel to 110mm, the use of the adjustable lockout, and using the rear propedal. Not the lightest choice out there.
This bike has been very well maintained. Linkage bearings have been replaced in the last 2 years. Everything on this bike is in great shape, and shows only minor cosmetic blemishes due to normal wear and tear. No significant dents, and definitely no cracks in the frame. This bike is ready to rumble.
