All I'm say'in is that whenever I see aTrek road bike I think of Lance and the 7 tour wins and all the doping...and Bruyneel...and then I see Trek bikes ridden by a bunch of pros in the dirt jump contests it just seems out of place to me. They will always be a roadie company to me. It's like all of a sudden Trek is putting all their eggs in a different basket (dh freeride) cause the first basket they made millions from (roadies, Lance) turned out to be a soiled product with a tainted image.

look more into mt. biking ... cause one o 'dem O.Gs's (... something something sh..an......dro? and then some....) will punk you once the new schoolers are done!

sorry man , couldn't resist! haha... cause every egg from every basket (that clearly trek (ET AL. .... ET AL.) have filled) ... are gonna crash on yo' head..., foo'! plus who knows, maybe their real name in the mt bike industry side-o-thangs is like some neosporine up on the wounds of trek via the lance issue ... they are integrated with some real time, good cats (yep. real time, good alley-cats .. yo') ... who keep at least the mt. bike side of cycling appropriate, fun, and spread full'o'love. lance may have pooched this one, but that shouldnt reflect wholly upon an innanimate object ... r ... they are corporations, sure, real people too, but, we all make mistakes!! haha ... and ... they have some f*ck-off nice bikes as byproduct of their years with lance ... maybe we all need a lil' dopin' and what not to truly progress the sport (tech + design!)! haha ... "we like to have fun here"(south park).
get out and ride! WOO!
btw, Trek is not "all of a sudden" in the MTB world, they have been around since the start, and they are the biggest retailer of specialty bikes in America.
Also that's not fair, would you respect Trek if they were based out of California? If I were to judge you by where you are from I would think you would be cool because you are Canadian. Obviously you're not, but I dont judge all Canadians on your actions, because that would be unfair and you guys arent all arrogant troll tools. Just Protour is, as far as I know.
if I had the $$ I'd buy a Trek because of that, and they are well made, with a lifetime guarantee.
