Really? OK I'll have to give it a shot. Biggest stuff I've ever done is the hive in Ramona so I figured this was big leagues.

Man these guys are so good. Do they ever have like "beginner session" at skateparks? I've been wanting to give the skatepark thing a try lately but I've got total-noob-syndrome and I'm afraid they'll like run me off or something cuz I don't know anything.

Dude this looks exactly like Vallecito. I went out there over Thanksgiving for some freeride and it was sweet! I'll have to give this place a visit sometime.

dylanlikesbikes: You're absolutely right. I'm selling my RTS when I go to college in 2 months and I'm getting a slope bike that I plan on using for everything. I hate it when people tell me that I need a different kind of bike or a different fork or whatever, because the fact is I can't afford it! Some of my (old) riding buddies used to have 5 different bikes that they used, and if we were going out to a different place they were like "oh wait... let me grab my other bike". Stupid if you ask me. I've had to work my butt off for all my bike money, and these rich kids get their parents to buy them all the fancy stuff and then they tell me I should get the same. the fact is, I can keep up and that's good enough for me.
OK, done venting. Sorry 'bout dat :-}

Then there are those of us who only ride one bike because we can only afford a cheapie craislist deal ;) I've done some pretty sick DH on my old GT RTS-3 (with blown forks no less) and it's always a blast. Never touched a downhill bike in my life.
