Last Chance To Be Ready For The Early Season
Great article as always James, has inspired me to get looking into it to ride better this summer. I do have a couple of questions though: 1) When you say double body weight when deadlifting, do you mean double of your body weight on the bar and weights, or your own body weight and then the same on the bar and weights? And if so, how do you recomend starting? I have never ever done one, and I'm always fearful of injurying my back (same with squats, but I do those). I'm relatively fit (1,77m, around 73kg and I play hockey at a relatively high level throughout the year, training about 3-5 times a week), but genetically not big or with a lot of muscle, so even when I am going to the gym it takes me a while to see any kind of gains, so when doing squats or attempting deadlifting, which I would like to, I never know where to begin. 2) My gym has no kettlebells, only dumbells, is there a big difference or can I just get on with it with the dumbells? 3) Regarding chin-ups and pull-ups, we don't have rubber bands either, but we have one of those machines with counterweights to do them. Do you find them also helpful or do you also stay away from those? Thanks for the great articles and videos (really well done and described)! Looking forward to your answer!

Pinkbike Presents 'Won't Back Down' At Sea Otter
Really, when's the DVD coming? We've been hearing about premieres for a while and reviews are already out but there's not even a date for the DVD, and we unfortunate ones to not have previews around want to watch it too!

Official 2013 Oakley Icon Sender Reveal
What the hell! That top sender is beyond massive! I don't see anyone but Zink/Strait/Claw or maybe Andreu (or Brendog seeing as his line was basically monster hits last year) trying it, and I'm going to be pooping my pants just watching it. It has to go right or it will go very wrong, I guess if it's there after all the athlete input it means they approve, but in that case, quoting the great Rob Warner, "I don't know how they walk with balls that big".

Final Results: 2013 Leogang DH World Cup
Why is the live feed working so incredibly bad? It had been great for the whole season and now all of a sudden for the most exciting race of the season it starts working like crap!

Qualifying Results - 2013 Leogang DH World Cup
So this means going into the final it's Steve ahead by 3 points, right? That's even closer than 2010 between Gee and Minaar, looks like Gee doesn't care for peace of mind and they just want to give the World Cup all the excitement possible, with Mick Hannah in the middle come finals time. Should be a pretty intense final round for the first time in the last three seasons!

Rain Man - DH World Cup 5 Finals - Norway
While I don't agree 100% with WAKI's last point, part of it is, to me, absolutely true. And it's the reason those guys are there: none of them is pleased with anything other than 1st. So what if Steve's quick to bring out a grin (now, let's wait till he's 28 and he knows his chances are starting to dwindle unlike your name is Greg Minaar or Steve Peat). So what if Aaron did barhumps? Their actual feelings, I can guarantee you, are exactly the same as Gee's. Good on you for blaming the man for showing his passion for racing at all times. I love cheerful guys like Peaty or Bulldog or Smith, but at the same time I admire the focus of guys like Gee. Btw, I haven't seen you bashing on Danny Hart, who's as sukly as they come post-race. Is it because he doesn't win so often or because he hasn't been the one (outside of Specialized or a mental lapse this summer by Tomac) knock your national hero Mr. Gwinn out of the top?
