Finished: Ask Us Anything - Schwalbe, Procore
Schwalbe: in response to earlier questions concerning what many consider to be unacceptably premature failure of the knobs (tearing off), the reason offered was that some batches of tyres escaped proper QA. That is a lot of batches because the phenomenon of premature failure by way of knobs tearing off, was widespread enough to qualify as a worldwide issue. Exactly how did Schwalbe resolve this issue? What was the identified reason for the failures? I'm not convinced it was a simple QA issue, as there were simply too many instances of the same type of failure in the global market. Schwalbe tires are mega expensive, and to buy them from overseas markets because of a lack of local (south african) availability only for them to fail after a very short period of usage represents a rubbish value proposition. A lot buyer confidence is lost due to this sort of situation, and the least that Schwalbe could do is offer a sufficiently detailed explanation as to why the failures actually occured, and how this was resolved.

Will Schwalbe be producing the new design Nobby Nic in Super Gravity casing? In fact, why wasn't super gravity an option upon release?

Finished: Ask Us Anything - Schwalbe, Procore
Schwalbe: i know this question was asked earlier, but could you be more specific: Why has it taken so long for Procore kits to finally start shipping, as announced in the past two weeks, and why in very limited quantities? Have there been issues with the product, and if so, what type of issue?

OneUp Components Granted Patent for Wide Range Sprocket, Cassette
Very high risk of patent trollage. The market for range expanders exploded because no one did the dirty. Everyone got to stt at the range expander table and the market decided which was worthy of business. Now it comes down to a piece of paper. I wonder if spesh will buy them up....

Sequence Saturday: Sam Hill's Slam
RSC reservoirs + code calipers + avid cleansweep G2 rotors at the back (can't see the front). Interesting mix and match there.
