Lama Cycles INC is Distribution Company that was founded in 2006 by experienced downhill and street riders. Inspired by the energy that surrounds all cycling sports, the two founders set out to contribute to the growth of the movement. The company's main objective is to provide Canadian and USA riders with quality products that were previously unavailable on this side of the ocean.

The question “Why can't we get this bike over here? Or that part?” is most likely what started it all.

Here is what I have to say: 1- much of our retail stores do not stock (did not stock) these frames. 2- The margin offered to our retail stores on these specefic frames are usually respected (which means that they benefit from a discount so they can sale these frames at the same price we are doing online). 3-We have a kickback policy for our stocking dealers when a sale happen in their market. 4- Offering discounts online unable Lama to sale to the remote locations and USA customers, which is not possible otherwise at the present time due to our dealer network... There will always be reasons to complain that the internet is unfair and all, but this industry is changing very very fast and we all need to adapt to this reality. Don't get me wrong, I hear what you are saying and I agree with you about how unfair it can be for the retail stores. But we are doing what we can to keep most of our stocking dealer happy while getting rid of products that are a bit more difficult to move. If you have any more concern, feel free to contact us directly. Thanks!
