Results: World Cup Round 5, Mont Sainte Anne - Finals
Has anyone noticed that racing is becoming more awesome now there's so much competition for first place? Sam Hill proving that he still has what it takes while Ratboy and Hart are showing us they can be consistently fast. Is there anything not to like in such a result?

Video: Hope Factory Tour
This evening I'm going to my LBS to get my new wheels. Hope rear hub, Sapim Race spokes and Stan's Flow rims. I'm even more stoked after reading this article.

Pinkbike Poll: What Style of Grip Do You Prefer?
I use Odi Rogues. They feel good and last long. Having said that though please don't listen to me (and anyone else) when choosing grips. Grips are really personal. It all boils down to hand size and personal preference. I don't believe thin or thick grips give you a better or worse feel on the bars. They each give a different feel so it's about what you prefer. Keep in mind that grip choice depends on whether you ride gloveless or not. And if you ride with gloves you may want thinner or thicker grips depending on how much padding there is on the palm of the glove. Thankfully, as grips are very personal, your friends will probably be running different grips each so you'd have a wide variety to test and see what you prefer.

Opinion - Cater To Your Weaknesses
Nice article. I think a lot of the problems with XC setups have to do with identity issues. Yeah you heard that right, identity issues. When one identifies as an XC racer he/ she will want to act like an XC racer and ride what the XC racers ride. The need to identify with the XC racers group can override logic when choosing gear. Obviously the same can be said for the dude who wants to identify as a DH racer. Btw he's faster than you (and you and you too)!
