Sam Dale is the latest addition to the Madison Saracen team for 2013, joining Manon Carpenter, Phil Atwill and Harry Molloy on what has quickly evolved into the UK’s premier team for young Downhill talent. Since its debut in 2011, the team has notched up a Junior World Cup winner, Junior World Champion, a National Champion, two British Downhill Series titles, multiple World Cup podiums, as well as a Bronze World Championships medal.
With a 12th place at last years World Championships, as well as an 8th place at the Fort William round of the World Cup, Sam is a rider with great potential and all of us at Saracen are excited to have him join the team on a two year deal. Sam will be competing in both the World Cup series, as well as the British Downhill Series.
| I'm very excited for the next two seasons with Madison Saracen. I've had plenty of time to test the Myst and I'm getting on well with it. To be working with Will Longden (Team Manager) will be awesome too. He's got many years of experience behind him and I'm sure I will learn a lot from him. - Sam Dale |
This is Sam’s first year riding on a full factory team, bringing with it a new level of support all the way from training through to race day. No doubt Sam’s talent will continue to evolve within this new and improved setup. Hopefully, we will see Sam pilot his Saracen Myst onto a World Cup podium in 2013!
| It's fantastic to have Sam on the Madison Saracen team, he's done so well over the last few years with limited support and were looking forward to giving him full factory backing to help him achieve his ambitions. Sam is a great character and well respected UK rider to compliment the rest of the team. - Will Longden |
