The weekend's riding has boiled down to today. Race day here at the Saracen BDS Round 4 in Llangollen, North Wales and it looks like we are in for a blast! Uplift running like a well oiled machine, track is dry, dusty and flat out, and the crowds have gathered to see what these boys and girls can bring to this hillside.

Off the back of two winning World Cups, top contenders, the Athertons, will be looking to stand upon the podium, but they won't be getting their without fighting off some of the best young talent the UK has to offer, including the likes of Joe Smith, Inners Graham, Brendan Fairclough and Manon Carpenter, who will be eager to end the Atherton killing spree.

 just have this to say...
GT & Atherton has not much of winning records last season with old Fury. Since Atherton are world class rider and no doubt about it, the team get back to drawing board to review their weapon... and they've come out with new Fury as well as new technology (DH specific I-Drive system), and they smashed the field.

.. but this kinda not happen in Spesh

Fairclough is still the shit tho!

And thats all the mention MATT STUTTARD gets.... The lad pulls a 4th in elite at one of the most tech courses in the country and you don't even comment on it !!!!!! 2 seconds off second place!!! Nice one!!!!
  • 13 1
Sad to see MATT STUTTARD getting zero mentions, despite a podium in his first year as an Elite. A privateer with little backing, qualifying for World Cups and only 4s back from Gee.

So glad you didnt waste my time with any coverage of the 20 year old Matt Stuttard having the ride of his life and coming in 4th beating Joe Smith and less than a second of Fairclough. I mean no-one wants to hear anything fresh about privateer lads absolutely smashing it when we can hear the same old stuff about everyone on a factory team. I mean obviously the fastest riders should get the coverage and Matty is the 4th fastest rider there, so why not give him any mention?

Must be tough for Manon with Rachael totally smashing it. Totally feel for her.

 Manon crashed!
She would have beat Rachael today if it wasn't for that.
She lost a lot time going down hard, but still came 2nd.
Next time maybe?

Gutted for Manon she was catching Rach before the split and looked to be on a really good run. Better luck next time.

Not gonna lie, I have a huge crush on Rachel. But I secretly root for Manon, cause you can tell she wants that top spot so bad.

Have to 'big up' the live feed, ok, not Red Bull but still really good... had me pinned on my comp here in Bulgaria... Seems to be getting better after each event. Good work guys :-) and deffo 'don't let Snowy have any more beer' hahahaha classic !

Steve-skidvd, thanks for your kind words on the live feed. I can categorically say we have around 1% of the budget Red Bull has, so of course it's on a shoe string and each round were improving!

Strange to hear dusty as a positive. We get so little rain here in new mexico dusty means wait 30 seconds between riders. Other wise you cant see shit. And when it rains its a novelty.

Same here in Utah... seems we are just waiting for the fires Frown

Beaumonts face looks like it has been photoshopped on there. Maybe he couldn't make it there so put a cardboard cutout mask on someone else.
