I recently caught up with GT Factory Racing Junior, Jackson Frew to have a chat and look back on how his final year of racing in the junior category played out. Get the low down on his mechanical plagued season and hopes for next year having moved into the elite category. Stay tuned for an off-season video coming up during the Australian Summer.

 Keep shredding Jackson, you're one of the smoothest riders out there, watching you ride is insane because you know you're going stupid quick, but you just make it effortless and smooth. There are merits to riding loose, and it looks awesome on video, but smooth is fast. Just ask that Minnaar bloke. Keep it up. Great video Matt!

 As they say in autocross: Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

Jackson is killing it!

 Awesome to see you beating on some sweet natural Sydney trails, Jackson. Definitely a year for lessons, but it will no doubt prepare you for next season and beyond!

 Nice footage Mat, this Jackson fella's dialled in, not much grooming has taken place up their at the Moo of late, if anything it's probably getting more of the gnarl, kinda a good thing really. Here's hoping the council merge gives this small piece of adventure play ground back too the mtb community, give us back the freedom we are entitled to, too let be and ride..

 LOVED watching Jack race at the bike buller festival earlier this year. Such a casual, down to earth dude. Will do well in Elite next year. Will be following

 @off-tha-trails: so racquets and volleys to look like we're there to play tennis?

 @off-tha-trails:
Yep, that's right a fence has been erected too keep out what is thought to be the unworthy, however, a fence is created from a place of fear too hold control, then intention is weak and is a far lesser of a force than that of the power of the intentions of the mtb community in spirit.. peace!
