For 2016, the Mondraker Australia Team continues with some of Australia’s best gravity riders. This year also sees the addition of the development squad, full of fresh new talent in gravity racing. The team is managed by two long time mates and co-owners of Mondraker Australia, Paul Walton and Anton Fourie. Mondraker Australia focuses on grassroots development and works with team riders at race events and training sessions to help boost the riders skills.

After only one race season under its belt the team is turning heads with its consistent results and dominant presence on the scene. Based on the Northern outskirts of Sydney, New South Wales, the team is a wide mix of talented racers, freeriders and people that just like to have fun on a bike. Together with the team partners, On-Off components, 50-50 chain retention, CL Brakes, DHaRCO Clothing, Fox Suspension and Poc Sports, Mondraker will be bringing a new level of professionalism and teamwork to the Australian race scene.

Mondraker Australia started in 2014 with a few sample bikes to start the transformation in Australia that has been sweeping through the rest of the world; forward geometry, zero suspension, lightweight and well engineered machines that allow any rider to confidently push their limits. Today they have a strong fleet of demo bikes and work hard to give every potential customer a chance to demo a bike on the trails they know so they can experience the advantages of a Mondraker.

This season the team will be attending all of the National DH rounds as well as the NSW/ACT State DH and gravity enduro races, they will also be attending some of the national enduro races and not forgetting the local club rounds.

The team prides itself on having an open approach where anyone is welcome to stop in and have a chat with the riders or mechanics for some advice or technical info on the bikes. At the Rockytrail events in NSW/ACT the team structure also doubles as race support HQ, where any competitor with a mechanical issue is entitled to free mechanical support. In addition to this any Mondraker rider is always welcome to stop by the tent for some tech tuning tips from Anton or Paul.

So come over to the Mondraker tent at the next race and say hi, or keep an eye out for the next set of results to see how many team riders you can spot up with the best riders in the country.
