Inside The Tape: Ben Cathro's Full Line Choice Breakdown - Val Di Sole DH World Cup 2018
At 6:57, comparing 4 riders starting all at the tree. Then a short section of course later comparing who's further down the course. The issue is that at the starting point, yes they are all at position 0, the tree. However, they are also at 4 different speeds. It would be better to compare differential speeds through the section. Computing ground speed using 2 trees at start of section then ground speed at end of section.

Opinion: Calm Reflections of Big-Wheeled Panic
Can anyone comment on the center of gravity for a 29" bike versus 27.5". And does it matter? Does a 29 have a higher cg and therefore takes more leaning angle to compensate in the turns? Same for high travel forks etc. Low cg should be able to handle turns easier it seams.

Startups: $300 Do-it-Yourself Wireless Shifting - Sea Otter 2017
Can someone tell me if the high dollar electronic shift systems continue to use the spring inside the derailleur? I assumed they did away with that to minimize the mechanical load on the system. Here the D1X uses the derailleur unmodified, so battery drain on the system pulling on the massive spring load of the derailleur.
