oh, apologies then :) I got the wrong impression that you genuinely didn't care for probably the best sprinter in the world.

The Odd World of Eurobike in 69 Photos
As an allround biking fan , of both mtb and road , i would expect someone from Pinkbike or Cyclingnews to know both Marcel Kittel and Aaron Gwin for example, it's not too much to ask from a biking reporter to know the big names in all of cycling.

Thursday Randoms - Eurobike 2014
Regarding the last 2 bikes from BMC and to this day i still can't grasp the difference between all-mountain and trail riding :\ . - " Meant for trail riding as opposed the the all-mountain riding " ? my brain hurts trying to understand the difference.

Results: World Cup Round 7 Meribel - XCO
The schurter - absalon ffinishes are becoming pretty boring. The other top 10 guys seem pretty even but on an inferior level, kulhavy is broken , sauser is out of the xco stuff and stander is dead. Not a great year for the sport, i'm thinking.

First Ride: DVO Diamond Fork Prototype
After the recent Manitou Mattoc review i was under the impression that it's as good as the pike or the fox, why isn't it presented as such in the "alternatives " section of the review ?

Marathon World Championships 2014
Kulhavy is a powerhouse, i'm happy for his result, from the beginning of the year the guy missed Cape Epic and was a shadow of his former self in the XC World cup, all because of a stupid slip on the ice while walking. Lakata just returned from a recovery himself, and Sauser needs no more introduction, the guy is a LEGEND. Cool to see Huber up there as well, this guy raced so hard a few years back that one race he competed with a bleeding nose .

Bitches Brew - Is Mountain Biking the Pinnacle of Human Athletic Performance?
Impossible to argue that MTB is the best sport. First of all, it's expensive. You are conditioned by the terrain near you. If done incorrectly ( not wearing safety gear, not maintaining your gear, not ajusting your position to suit your body ) may lead to a lot of physiological problems. I guess you could argue that the cinematics of the sport put your mind & body through a more or less complete set of efforts, but then again so does triathlon .

competitive cyclists will not stop wearing lycra because lycra is not a fashion statement , but a necessity and a performance factor . I have a feeling that, if it was still allowed gravity riders would stretch that lycra on them like there was no tomorrow. And btw, if Fumic and Fontana wear baggy apparel it doesn't mean that they are onto something. It was a stupid argument 10 years ago, 5 years ago and keeps being stupid and pointless to this day.

Video: Rap Battle - Mountain Biker Vs. Road Biker
wtf....you' re just mentioning a list of mountainbikers that have nothing to do with road cycling ( although a lot of mtbers go on the road aswell for training and setting a base physical condition to build upon ). i m not sure what " you won ' . Road Cycling is a much bigger industry, with talents and legendary cyclists, and they deserve just as much respect.
