Hey, your bike looks great! Can you tell me what those rims are? I tried Googling 'Sentinel' and such, but haven't found them. I've been looking for a pair of purple rims to lace up for my Faith and so far all I've found are some Dartmoor ones that won't be easy for me to get.

In case anyone is curious, the song is called "Down the Burning Ropes" by James Vincent McMorrow.

Pinkbike Poll: Long Travel Single Crown Forks
I literally just put a new Fox 180 van on my Faith about a month ago. Say what you will, Pinkbike, buy I'm thoroughly enjoying my long travel single crown. Having diversity and options within the marketplace isn't a bad thing.

Aaron Gwin: Karma vs Drama
Scumbag Pinkbike: Posts news article about Gwin switching teams, possible legal actions, which team (Spec or Trek) is in the right. Next day posts article about everyone freaking out and that it's not a big deal, telling people this stuff happens all the time. How about if it wasn't a big deal in the first place, you don't make it sound like one? Then, you won't get that kind of reaction from the Pinkbike community.

To Each Their Own
I couldn't have said this any better. The nit-picking between long and short travel, DH and AM bikes is completely unnecessary. As you mentioned, a lot of us are at home on down hill bikes. It doesn't matter if it's too much travel for some trails, and at least you've got it when you do need it on gnarlier rides. A lot of us enjoy pushing up. I get a hike and a ride in the same day. Plus, my groin isn't on fire once I get to the top. Anyways, thanks for this write-up. I agree with you whole-heatedly. Ride what you love, don't worry about the rest.
