Share the Ride in Farellones, Chile with Montenbaik - Video

Once again, Montenbaik and Pinkbike came together to donate bicycles to underprivileged children in Chile. This time the Municipality of Lo Barnechea contacted us to donate bikes to the Kids of Farellones School.

This is the second time that Share The Ride - Pinkbike made a donation of bicycles in Chile, last time was in Matanzas, which was a success.


We chose Farellones since it is a mountain village that has great potential in the practice of Mountain Bikes and besides that, it is a place we love, the Andes Pacifico passes through here every year...

So this is a good way to give back to this community that for so many years has given us support in our Montenbaiker life.


At the same time, we contacted our Giant friends in Chile who sponsor Share The Ride in Canada giving a special price for the bikes and helmets.

We want the bikes to last a long time and requiring low maintenance, which is why we chose, according to the Pinkbike budget, 7 Giant Revel and XTC bicycles of different sizes depending on the height of children and Louis Garneau helmets.


The Director of the School of Farellones Don Carlos Valdebenito thanking us for this donation.


Children between 7 and 9 years were the beneficiaries of this beautiful project.


Thanks to this donation the municipality of Lo Barnechea has decided to donate more bikes to children of this school, that is why other children were invited to see that soon they will have the same luck.


After the ceremony, the children went outside to try the bikes!


Not only the kids were happy, their parents were also very thankful, even some children learned to ride without training wheels!


The three Montenbaik partners Eduardo de Solminihac, Matias del Solar and Ignacio Barbosa were present.

This new donation makes us very happy and excited when we see the happiness of the kids and their families with their bicycles.

Thanks again to Pinkbike for this donation and we hope we can do it again somewhere else in Chile!
