Med Curtlo Single Speed

$700 USD
Custom built Curtlo single speed for sale. The frame is handbuilt, with paragon sliders and cable stops if you want to run a geared drivetrain. Original specs were built around a Pike fork (26") and a 68 degree head angle. My 29er rigid fork maintains the same head angle. This is a super fun bike, but I am spending more time on the road and cx bikes, this one just sides idle. Specs include: 800mm chromag Fubar bars, XT brakes, e13 crankset, RevGrips (pefect for the rigid fork!!), Specialized roval/Stans-e13 hub, White Industries freewheel, and 2 sets of tires (Specialized ground control/purgatory, and installed Continental TrailKing 2.4" tires). I am 5'7", and this bike fits great. Which would put it in the Medium, 17" frame size. Let me know if you have any questions, can meet up outside of Coupeville and off island as well

New, Never Built Md Transition Patrol Frameset

$1400 USD
2016 Transiton Patrol Frameset, Medium, for sale. Its hard to see it go, but plans have changed and I will not be building up this sweet frame. My wife and I have a little one on the way, so projects like this will have to wait until the little one is ready to shred with me. I am open to any reasonable offers, no trades. 27.5 wheels, 142x12mm hub, 160mm suspension platform. Ready for your dream build!

PINKBIKE POLL: Press-Fit Bottom brackets
Agreed with the OP. if a threaded BB comes into the shop creaking, a simple procedure and some grease (I also prefer plumbers tape) and the issue is solved. Happy customer, and no headache for the mechanic. The hardest thing to do is try to explain to a customer that A) your new bb is creaking B) the method of removing the bearings destroys them, so pay me $25 for new ones, and worse yet C) your frame may be defective, I cannot chase threads, face anything, just have to try for a warranty replacement frame. At that point, not only is the shop probably going to lose $$ for the time spent on the ordeal, but the customer is bikeless AND my mechanic has put down his skills/tools that in the past could have fixed the problem, and picked up a phone to the nearest rep to get a frame swap. (that was kind of a run on sentence) I am sure PF have their place at the top end of the sport, but I am not their nor are my customers or most other people who ride. I do consider us largely a disposable society, but I personally would like to keep my bikes for more than a couple years (they aren't getting any cheaper)
