Schwalbe Rock Razor Tire - Reviewed
Have you moved from Italy to Sospel Matt? Would love to see your photo skills at the 1001enduro races! It's a shame Schwalbe dont make a 29er version, will have to test the specialized slaugther or michelin wildracer2 equivalents.

Rider Journal - EWS 1 - Nevados de Chillán
These are great alright. When you are honest and can write well, a race report is even better than a recap video. I wonder if he is still using the split tube tubeless setup though.

I cant believe I'm going to answer to this drivel... "Higher speed + higher center of gravity + slower reaction time (less agility)..." 1) Where is this higher center of gravity? Given the same sagged BB height as a 26er the COG is pretty much as high, unless hubs are crazy heavy or you are running super raised handlebars. Furthermore, since the point where 80% of the weight is (that would be the rider weight at the BB center) is below the wheel axles, this ads stability. 2) You can not have your cake and eat it too: you would have to be a complete buffoon to say "slower reaction time" and then on the VERY NEXT LINE discredit short chainstays. The short chain stays make the bike nimble, that is fact, anyone who has ridden a couple of bikes can tell this. So a bike can not possibly be critiqued for being "less agile" and for having short (more agile) chainstays, it just makes no sense. There is a spectrum ranging from agile to stable, nearly every reviewer feels this bike sits in a very good place on that spectrum, you are effectively claiming that is sits on both ends of the spectrum at the same time...

Final Results: Enduro World Series, Round 1
Maes 17, Nicolai and Cure 20-21 range (they have been on french podiums as young as 16). The difference between them and Rude: the young french/belgian riders focused on enduro from the start, in Nicolai's case he even gave up riding any form of DH bike 3-4 years ago. So despite their age, they still have 4-5 years of experience of top level racing, and experience is everything here, especially as consistency is so important. At least give Rude a full season to prove himself, this was one of his first proper enduro races ever.

Agreed, the comp version just needs a wheel upgrade and then it's a killer bike. Knocked time off every single strava segment I had done with my 26er, no matter how tight or steep the descent. Having just as much fun too. I wouldnt recomment 29ers in general, but you should try out the enduro 29 before blindly buying a 27.5 bike.

Well specialized spent most of their money on Gwin, and the rest on helicopters to film Keene riding fireroads, so they cant afford an enduro team this year sadly.

Final Results: Enduro World Series, Round 1
He's a crazy fast kid who was competing with Barel and Vouilloz for the wins in his local races as early as when he was 15-16, just sheer natural talent. He had an average season last year as he didnt realise he needed to train physically at the world series level. He has sorted all that out now so expect to see him on a couple more podiums! Hopefully he will get more international recognition with results like these!

Nico Lau's Cube Fritzz - Enduro World Series 1
Agree with you on the carbon comment, but i think the only reason he is not using a narrow wide ring is that he can't because his sponsors dont make one, which means he has to use a regular rign with a full chain device.

20 To Watch In 2014 - EWS 2014 Preview
Nico Lau and Flo Nicolai are the big guns on my fantasy team: they had shocking EWS results last year compared to what they achieved in years prior, these guys can beat Clementz and will have been training like crazy to prove it. Leov and FBM are both underrated also, Leov hadnt trained last year and FBM was out with big injuries early on. Both could be on the podium on longer more physical events.

2nd fastest on the downhill track (1st split), in a league of their own with Gwin. Lost time on the fireroad tho...
