Welcome to the Jungle - Enduro World Series, Round 1 - Rotorua
"Mexicans as a race aren't shy of a bit of hard work either, so when it came time to build trails that work ethic has meant a sprawling labyrinth of trails that you could get lost in for days." Still looks like a compliment to me, still don't see even a hint of racism...

Adidas Evil Eye Evo Pro - First Look
Yeah I cant believe there has not been a big push for such a google. I tried these on the other day and they would be perfect under a small helmet: They would need to be a clear(er) lens to work however.

Pinkbike Poll: Should Enduro Transfer Stages Be as Tough as Pro XC Climbs?
Enduro should stay as the "common man's race", for the guys who dont have time to do 10h of turbo trainer a week, but also wernt born with the natural skills of Hill or Blenkinsop. As such, your standard enduro race shoud be doable by anyone who rides 1-2 a week, this is what makes enduro appealing, and can bring people into the sport. Personally, I hate when a competition isnt representative of the sport, which is why I simply cant watch XC eliminator, which doesnt correspond to anyones riding, or the south africa WC which doesnt look like anything 99% of riders ride. So I would argue, even at EWS level the stages and climbs should be a level above a local race, but not over 2000m of ascending or 50k loops, and giving riders a chance to catch their breath, possibly do a 5 minute repair job during the liaison, time to eat a bar etc. I personally dont like the idea of a paddock (or lunch break) either, especially in Italian races, where the return to paddock seems to add 10km of road liaisons for nothing

Red Bull Rampage 2014: Brandon Semenuk's 3rd Place Run
Dude you missed the best one: first rider starts his second run Totally-clueless-announcer: "The big question now is: will he change his LINE?" dead silence... Less-clueless-but-not-hyped-enough-announcer: "Well... he definitely wont change his line" To make things worse, they had literaly discussed this 5 minutes beforehand...

Red Bull Rampage 2014: Results
It just didnt make sense that semenuk and especially strait had similar lines to Andreu, and threw more tricks (suiciding the huge drop, and 360 a massive drop) yet they were scored no where near. I dont have any issue with Andreu getting the win, it's just the jump in scoring completly ruined any excitement for the second runs...

Red Bull Rampage 2014: Results
The progrssion was insane: Andreu, Zink, Strait, Semenuk and Rheeder all had runs that put 2008-2013 rampages to shame!

Red Bull Rampage 2014: Results
To be honest the judges kinda blew it by scoring him so much higher than the next 3-4 riders on the rankings who were just as entertaining. There was barely any tension for the second runs as Andreu's score was unbeatable...
