To anyone that says IMBA designed trails are dumbed down boring trails, has obviously never ridden C.H. or Marquette, MI. In the meantime, I'm sorry your trails are lame, do something about it.

2016 Pinkbike Awards - Advocacy of the Year Winner
@isawtman: have you contacted these Senators and tried to convince them to change? Have you done anything similar to or better than this STC group? Or are you one of those people that sits in their arm-chair and bit$h's about other people and their accomplishments? I can tell you the later is not what gets anything done. I didn't know anything about the STC until this article, but I'm willing to think $130k is the cost it takes to just open the correct door in politics, much less walk through that door.

Devinci to Step Away from UCI Downhill for 2017
Why don't we all stop Interneting, take a deep breath and go ride our bikes? Ride for those who no longer can and stop the meaningless bickering. Long Live Chainsaw.

@Mckenzieinc: just a few short years ago my area did just that, with IMBA's help. We started are own IMBA chapter, they give us the resources to help working with land management/local government (and sometimes $$), we do everything else locally by raising more $ and building maintaining trails. We can only blame ourselves if the trail suck even if IMBA built, because believe it or not, most likely someone locally hired IMBA to build those crappy trails everyone dislikes or a local IMBA chapter did it to themselves.

A guy asks a simple question only to be labeled as "Below threshold"? I would ask more questions but they would never be answered......sad. I guess an open dialogue is something I should not expect from this site. Instead of getting things done, we just complain about what others have done.
