Pinkbike Poll: Center Lock or 6-Bolt Brake Rotor Mounting?
@jorennmt: I just use 3-bolts triangulated. Best of both worlds, way lighter too!

1994 Specialized Rockhopper

$650 USD
For sale is a medium 1994 Rockhopper in the rad Teal/pink colorway with an upgraded Profile racing cockpit to 1-1/8 finished off with Fairdale Moto bars. Currently set-up as a 1x7 with a mix of LX rear derailleur, GS 200 cranks and a sun tour friction shifter. The wheels are Specialized X25’s laced onto polished exige hubs and wrapped with Schwalbe tires. Stopping duties are handled by polished Shimano canti’s paired with exage levers with the shifter-delete mod. Extras include a size sm Fjallraven specialized frame bag, chrome feed and rack bag up front with a Topeak rack and bag in the back. Supporting the bar bag is Specialized’s Fjallraven rack. I would prefer to sell it packaged and set-up as-is, but is willing to drop the price to $500 minus the racks, bags and bottle cages. This bike rides awesome and is great for all-around town errands, which was my primary use for it.

1992 Specialized Hardrock

$500 USD
For sale is a medium 1992 Specialized Hardrock in the black and yellow with purple (Lakers!) color way. I have converted this bike to a friction shift 1x7 and upgraded it with mostly period-correct parts with a Shimano 200GS RD + Sun tour shifter, deore brakes and LX cranks in addition to custom-mounted chrome 26-inch fenders from a 1968 Schwinn that add to the uniqueness and functionally of this bike. Extras include yellow/color-matched Minoura bottle cages and Maxxis tan-wall tires mounted to specialized x25 wheels laced onto LX hubs. Saddle bag is not included with the sale. I’m down-sizing for a move, which is the only reason this is going up for sale.

1997 Santa Cruz Heckler

$1500 USD
For sale is a 1997 Santa Cruz Heckler with top-shelf period correct parts. I built this as how a privateer racer would have in the mid/late-90s. A future classic, if it isn’t already. This bike is in mint-rider condition and will be an awesome addition to someone’s collection. It was last ridden in dirt by my dad during the 2019 Sea Otter Classic and has been garage kept since. Even Santa Cruz doesn’t have this on their digital catalog!! I’m preparing for a move, which is why I’m unloading some of my collection. Frame: 1997 Santa Cruz Heckler w/ the black/polished colorway Fork. Marzocchi Z1 Bomber in red w polished bridge and crown Shock: Fox Vanilla R coil Wheels/Tires: Weimann Zac 19 laced on polished XT hubs w Conti tires Cranks. 3x Raceface Forged Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT 8-speed Shifter: Shimano XT 3x8 Brakes: Polished XT V-brakes with GORE housing. Bars/Stem: Azonic Oneal’s/Shorty’s Pedals: Hand-polished Azonic platforms Saddle/post: Azonic Berserkr DH on Raceface post Extras: Full set of Crud Fenders

1991 Marin Bear Valley Splatter Paint

$500 USD
For sale is a 1991 Marin Bear Valley with a green over black splatter paint job. Unlike other bikes with a splatter paint pattern, this Marin carries the design throughout the cock-pit and the color really pops in sunlight. Paired with a dialed 90s era geometry and Tange construction, the ride is equally as lively. I built this bike up with mostly period-correct parts as a 1x8, but it’s just a tad too big for me to ride comfortably over longer miles - with a 20” seat tube length. Perfect if you’re 5’-10” or taller. Local pick-up preferred or Buyer cover shipping costs. Frame: 1991 Marin Bear Valley w/ splatter paint Brakes: Shimano LX canto’s w/ Dia Compe levers. Cranks: Shimano LX polished w/ Wolf Tooth chainring Wheels: Weimann laced over LX hubs Tires: WTB Velociraptor’s

Spot Ajax Gravel Conversion

$800 USD
For sale is my old commuter that I converted to a gravel-spec build over Covid. The Ajax features an aluminum chassis with a bladed carbon fork on an internal 8-speed belt driven hub. The bike is mostly stock with the exception of a shorter stem and flat-bar/albatross swap, a carbon seat post and knobby WTB 40x700c Raddler tires. While the bike is preferably sold optioned as-is, the bags and racks can be removed. The packs currently include the triangle frame bag, a top-tube bag, feed bag and canteen packs for the cock-pit and a Topeak 15L saddlebag with wishbone out back. The blackburn outpost cages and Nalgene bottles are not included, however, but are pictured to give the future owner an idea of how it looks adventure-ready. I have done a handful of two-to three day bikepacking trips on this set-up, which took a lot of thought, trial and design to get dialed. Minus the low-entry cost, I believe that this is the perfect purchase for the rider looking for a ready-to-ride gravel bike to get into bikepacking with. Frame has been taped to prevent scuffing from the bags, however some small nicks and scratches are present. I'm only selling as most of my days-long rides are being done on my Salsa and a pending move does not allow me the opportunity for multiple bikes at the moment. $600 w/o the accessories. Shipping is ok w/i North America. Buyers covers shipping costs.
