RIP Mike Hall - British Endurance Racing Legend
What a loss, he was an inspiration to us all, RIP but keep on spinning. I have often asked myself similar questions on long climbs, 'what would Mike Hall do?' Keep bloody pedalling that's what.

Garbaruk Xtender for Shimano XT 11-speed Cassettes - Review
@IllestT: Be fair oval chain rings in the 90's were clocked 90deg the other way which was nuts, completely different concept to what modern ovals are doing.

Components of Adventure: Scotland with Vanderham and Hunter
@martn: 2nd that... We have an amazing resource in the ordnance survey in the UK. With a bit of time looking at maps and some research online you can plan some amazing multi day rides in Scotland. Everything has been ridden before so you can find someone's trip report / GoPro footage online. Right to roam (responsibly) and the wild camping (responsibly) attached to it are a triumph of forward thinking access law. With a conservative estimates on daily mileages you have time to play with if things go wrong and if you use bivvies / bothies (another amazing aspect of Scotland, Mountain Bothies Association is a charity that relies on donations) then you can change your plans to suit conditions. Transport links are pretty damn good up there and bike friendly, sleeper trains / coaches mean if you live down South you can leave Friday night, be riding at 0600 in the hills, have your own mini epic and with a Sun night overnight train be back at work Mon morning (maybe a bit smelly). Oh and did I mention tickets for sleeper seats can be had for £35 each way. If you can borrow the kit you need an adventure can be had for less than £150 and that includes a dinner while you wait for your train home. Scotland ... the best thing about living in the UK.

26" Front Wheel - Sunringle BlackFlag Pro 15x100mm

$45 GBP
26" Front Wheel - Sunringle BlackFlag Pro - 15mm x 100mm - Internal rim width 19mm Used front wheel with some scuffs and scratches but in good condition. The worst two are pictured, cosmetic damage only, no structural damage. True to within 1mm radial, 1mm lateral. Brand new bearings replaced with a proper press so running smooth with no play. Tubeless ready (not UST) valve included. Rim tape is showing some wear as pictured (rest of tape is fine) but the wheel still seals up airtight, you may want to replace it in the future. 24 hole, 3 cross lace (you only see 2 crossings because not j-bend spokes) with Straight pull spokes, alloy nipples. 6-bolt disc pattern (bolts included). I have a few old discs so if you need one let me know what size and I may be able to include for an extra £5. I also have loads of tyres from XC to DH, again let me know what you need and I'll see if I can do you a deal. This wheel is from a wheel set, I have the rear hub 135mm x QR, spokes and nipples but the rim was knackered so went in the bin. I can include these (extra £15) if you want to rebuild the wheel with a new rim to make a wheelset. Postage within UK will cost you £15 on top of what we agree for wheel. I work in London most Saturday's but live in Winchester and ride Swinley, Tidworth, Surrey Hills, Puddletown and Portland so can do local pickup or delivery within reason and if not too far from my commute / drive. Payment by PayPal only to protect you and me! Feel free to make me an offer.
