Lee McCormack's Guide to Bike Set-Up
@leelikesbikes: how does wheelbase enter the equation? I’m 6’1” so “between” large and XL by most measures. I have a medium FR bike. And have just gone from a large hard tail 26” trial bike to ht trail XL 29er. The 29er feels incredible but rarely leaves the ground. I could use the same RAD/ RAAD on a large or XL. Is it as obvious as I think? Would I get a livelier ride on a shorter wheelbase with my specific rider triangle set up? There’s 28mm difference in wheelbase so am assuming fore/aft weight distribution would be the only change to feel? Cheers
