Commencal Supreme FR

$750 GBP
With great sadness i must sell my Commencal Supreme FR. Its a size M and a great bike for an aspiring rider or a complete beginner. It has 180mm Fox 36r up front (can also take 203mm fox 40), it has Fox Van R on the rear for 180mm rear suspension too. Pretty much bog standard Supreme Freeride, good condition, few scuffs, no dents or cracks in frame, rides lovely, could do with new front rotor and brake pads due to slight bend, small nick in left stanchion. The damage is all purely cosmetic, does not affect the performance at all. Bike may need a new front rotor soon as there is a small bend but its not serious as of yet, will also need new bar ends, other than this, bike is ready to go. I have owned the bike since May this year and need the money for other commitments sadly. Sale will include spare set of tyres, and at extra cost can include protective gear. Bike will also be set up to suit rider's weight and style. Any questions or list of full spec wanted, don't hesitate to comment or pm me. Can post with paypal or banktransfer payment (if paypal costs are covered as well as shipping costs) no problem, or cash on collection is fine too. Many thanks

Custom built commencal meta sx

$1250 GBP
Hello pinkbike, Are you looking for the ultimate park bike? Something that you can take to any DH park, but still ride up the push up, freeride it or race it in an enduro? Well this is the bike for you! Here for sale i have my magnificent commencal meta sx. This is the very last 26" model, brought out in late april of 2014 with the "cut" (extra long) chainstays allowing a piggyback air shock or a even a coil shock to be fitted to it, as well as being the annodised VIP version for added bling! I built the bike up from the frame over a period of about 2 months, in 2016, so almost all the parts are top of the line, brand new components, on top of this later parts were added in 2017 like the hope stem and other purple parts. So i see you wondering, what is the general spec? Frame: Commencal Meta SX size XL Fork: Custom tuned Marzocchi 55cr with SKF race seals Wheels: Mavic Crossmax Enduro WTS Cranks: Shimano Saint Drive: 11spd Shimano XT M8000 Shock: Rockshox Monarch rt3 (i will give a full spec list on request, i just don't want to make the advert too large, the imprint grips will not be included in this sale as I am currently doing product testing of these, but i will include a different set) The original geometry sets the HA as 65 degrees, but with the massive axle offset of the marzocchi 55, and the type of crown race fitted it's currently sitting at 64.45 degrees with a wheelbase in the region of 1215mm, this makes it an excellent descender, very planted and stable. At this point you're probably wondering my reason for selling it, well it's a sad sale for me, because shortly after building this bike up, i had a serious crash on one of my other bikes in May of 2016, and wasn't able to get back on a bike until December 2016, from the time i finished building it, to the time i crashed, i had ridden it only 5 times, where since i have ridden it only a further 10 times at the most - so to put it shortly, i am borderline unable to ride on a physical level, but also have not had the time to take it out. Due to my injury i cannot reach quite as far as i used to be able to, so I am now being limited in my riding of this bike also, and hence I can no longer get on with it, which brings great sadness to me, and is forcing a change to a shorter frame at the very least if i hope to continue riding. After each ride (although it was only a few) i cleaned the bike properly, degreasing and regreasing the parts, the lot. The bad points: There is a minimal amount of damage to the bike, all purely cosmetic, a tiny tiny scratch on the right fork stanchion, which I have had checked and it doesn't affect performance, and a few small scratches on the downtube and non-drive rear chainstay (see pictures), the bottom bracket area however is completely damage free. The rear shock could do with a service, as on occasion it can lose a few psi of air, not the end of the world, but a bit annoying. Due to the need of a service there is a small amount of wear on the stanchion, though this was how it was from the previous owner, i have been contemplating servicing it, but a service costs more than it's worth realistically, and i have not replaced it because i have been contemplating whether to sell or keep this bike for a long time, as i don't want to spend so much on a replacement and then see it go to waste, as i'm sure you understand, though the rear end feels fine there is no play in the frame bearings or the shock, so it is perfectly ridable as it is. Apart from this, the bike is sound and solid. The good points: In this set up the bike weighs in at around 13kg, which for an XL aluminium bike is impressive! The V3 linkage system is one of my favourite rear suspension designs, the progressive and responsive feel is immense and no other bike feels like it, a very very solid bike. With the light weight, narrow wide chain ring, clutch mech it is incredibly silent even on the roughest terrain. Also, to solve the front brake contamination ive fitted race matrix pads up front, braking is now silent and incredibly sharp for a deore m615, and due to a recent overroost on the trails, tyres / wheels come tubeless ready (haven't got round to a full tubeless set up yet, but have changed the rear tyre for a much grippier compound which has made the bike ride even better), I've got a nice smooth set up of the fork and rear shock, and it's very easy to alter the feel with small adjustments which makes it a great starting point if you're just getting into suspension set up, or if you've previously mastered it. A bike i would recommend for anyone, it's just awesome. Price is at £1250, i'm willing to accept offers arounf this price, just nothing ridiculous. Not really wanting a trade unless its something like an evil frame or a yeti frame (optimistic i know). no motorbikes, xbox's or phone's please, though i would consider swaps for a Mazda RX-8, of some form, so just send me a text or a message on pinkbike with any questions you have, or requests for more pics, etc. Collection is preferred, but I can post at the buyer's cost, or could drive a short way to deliver or meet halfway, cash/bank transfer or paypal is fine. The type of rider i would recommend this to is someone taller than 6ft1" at the very least, commencal recommend 6ft3" which obviously would be an even better fit. If youre looking for a park shredding machine or a top spec enduro racer (but want to keep with old standards) this is the bike for you! the best do it all bike i have ridden. If before the sale you send me your weight, height, riding style and terrain preference, I'm happy to do a full suspension, tyre and geometry set up for you so it rides as good as possible. I will also include a range of spares: KS lev dropper seat post 2 sets of Mavic tyres FSA Gravity stem Seat clamp The original chainslap protectors Various misc. parts like crownrace for narrower steerer tubes and spacers etc. I hope this mean machine brings you as much joy as it brought me in the short time i had it. Happy buying!
