Specialized Crave Comp, size medium, upgraded

$1000 CAD
I'm selling my 2014 Specialized Crave Comp. It's a size medium/17.5" frame with 29 inch wheels. I bought the bike in March and have put under 200km on it. Bike is in perfect mechanical shape. There are scuffs on the frame, largely from it spending a fair amount of time on the back of a car. I originally purchased the bike to race XC, but I have a greater need for a dedicated commuter. Componentry is an Shimano SLX/Deore mix with a Rock Shox Recon Gold fork with remote lockout and Roval wheels. Chain was just replaced. Upgrades include: Wolftooth 1x10 32t narrow wide chainring (50km on it, I can include original chainrings and shifter if desired) ESI chunky grips Truvativ Team seatpost (way lighter than stock) 90mm Specialized Pro multi-stem Full spec list is available at

Specialized 2FO Clip Shoe - Review
Its pretty easy to find shoes from 5.10, Teva, etc that are half the price of these or less. So, nope.

Pivot Mach 4 Carbon: XC Trailbike, Wired for Speed
Don't see the huge downside of a front deraileur if you can set it up to shift sequentially from the rear shifter. I'd expect it would feel more or less like a 1x setup but with the benefits of a full range of gears. Also, Di2 on the road is pretty rad. No cable adjustments to make, front deraileur is self trimming (no rub!), and the shifting is scary fast. It's definitely not as 'pure' as a cabled setup, but it sure does have its benefits.....

Kitsbow Women's A/M Softshell Short - Review
This is the 2nd or 3rd review on Kitsbow products I've seen here and the 3rd or 4th time I've seen it on other sites. Almost everyone seems to think the pricing is ridiculous, (which it is) why in the hell do they keep pushing out these reviews? Lets see some clothing reviews on some more reasonable product please.

The Future of XC? XMB Challenge, Aspremont
I dont really see how this XMB thing is different that endurance XC. There are a bunch of races near me in North Carolina's mountains are a really similar format: 4-6 hour routes set in really technical terrain. They're some of the most popular xc events in the region and its been that way for years. These types of races are pretty commonplace across much of the country So other than being shorter than endurance races I don't see how this XMB thing brings anything new to the table
