Buy Cam Zink's Custom YT Capra for $25

Cam Zink s Old Glory YT Capra
Thanks to the Troy Lee Design paint department for creating such an amazing work of art and supporting this effort.

Cam Zink put his YT Capra "Old Glory," custom painted by Troy Lee Designs, up for a raffle a while back in order to raise money for Sensus RAD Trails - a non-profit institution operated by the California grip maker to fund the construction and upkeep of high-quality, progressive trails, primarily through existing trail building organizations. SRT hopes to attract funding from riders and industry sources through donations, the first of which is Old Glory - which was valued at $20,000 by inebriated Swiss certified public accountants. If you want a shot at winning Zink's YT, make a donation of $25 USD or more to Sensus RAD Trails and you will automatically be registered for the raffle. The raffle is worldwide, and the lucky winner will be announced at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California, which is a little more than one month away - April 14 through 17.

bigquotesI wanted to take this opportunity to build the sport from the much-needed financial side. Every little effort helps, and I wanted to auction this beautiful bike to help build rad trails. I have organized this effort with as little overhead as possible so that every penny possible can go to another inch of trail! - Cam Zink

We know that there are many inefficiencies in both trail building and funding, not to mention too many sub-par, and unsafe trails. Sensus RAD Trails is dedicated to facilitating the building of progressive, yet safe trails and features. We are devoted to keeping riders happy and making YOUR favorite trails come to life. This is the beginning of a long-term effort to help build rad trails in North America and eventually, world-wide. We are all excited grow this initiative and fuel our amazing sport. For all trail suggestions, locations, builder inquiries, and trail concepts, drop us a note.

All donations can be made at SensusRADTrails.com and any donations over $25 will automatically be entered into the Ol’ Glory drawing. Eligibility is worldwide and the winner need not be present to qualify.

I don't understand the patriotic connection with Budweiser beer. It's absolutely the worst beer ever.

with stock mostly owned by Belgian-Brazilian beer giant InBev. Still, I'm always impressed by Troy Lee's flair.

I like that they're advertising the fact that their beer is terrible and poking fun at beer snobs who won't drink it. It truly is terrible tho

Our budweiser is brewed in canada. Made from rice.

You kids don't know shit about beer. Fritz Maytag gave Bud props because he understands what Lawn Mower Beer is. I live in SF and Bud is made 30 miles from here. Buy locally. Ride globally. Life is too long to drink good beer (all the time). Put your Pliny the Trender down for a nite, and drink an E-40 followed by a Four Loko and light your pubes on fire with a Bic lighter. Born to mob.

 Hahahahahahahhahaha
  • 9 7
And Budweiser isn't even American anymore, their a Brazilian-Belgian company; InBev. This bike is only American by paint.
  • 20 13
@endlessblockades That makes absolutely no sense. Life is too long to drink good beer? I guess this is why we export fosters to the yanks.
  • 10 3
@endlessblockades f*ck yes. Pound buds and send it!

@freerabbit lmao same here in the US.
  • 11 0
Good thing there wasn't a bike to talk about. I'm learning a lot about Budweiser.
  • 5 3
Budwiser.....no thanks tastes horrid. Erdinger....yes please, I'll hand it to the Germans they know how to make a good white beer. But if they are going to slap a beer decal on a shock surely it should have been either Carlsburg.....we don't make shocks but if we did they'd propably the best shocks in the world Heineken......writes itself really

 Hey, that's bretty good.

Should have been Pabst Blue Ribbon. He even had it on one of his helmets in Disorder 5 I think?

Shitty country, I hope you are not invaded anytime soon I would hate for our shitty country to have to come to your aid. I have been to Canada several times and I have always been impressed by how beautiful it is and how nice the people are, guess I never ran into the small % of narrow minded people like you.

@Duffield have you ever seen a world map? Big Grin Who the f*ck would possibly invade Canada, Eskimos from Greenland?
  • 9 1
 No....Not the eskimos....Trump!!!
  • 4 2
First things first, PBR is popular again because of all the tight-jeans wearing, wanna-be lumberjack urban hipsters. It's the same piss-water it's always been. Second, and with all due respect to the Germans and Belgians, but Founders, Dogfish Head, Weyerbacher, as well as the thousands of micro-breweries like the Alchemist, Fiddlehead, Oscar Blues, Lawson's, (insert your local Brewer here), are absolutely owning the shit out of how good you can really make a beer.
  • 2 1
I love Canadian beer and despise Bud, but SlowdownU has it damn right.
  • 2 0
A thread about beer on PB. lol... My worlds have collided. (and yes, Bud sucks) CHEERS!
  • 1 0
Pbr has been popular since I was young because it's cheap not because of some hipsters. I've been drinking Pbr or cariboo regularly after rides or just to get drunk for years! I love a good beer, but sometimes who cares? All the microbrewies come down to fad and preference. That industry is trying to become like the wine industry and it never will.

extremmist, the world map would look much different if not for the U.S and it's allies including Canada, I have looked at a map and thanks to the bravery of people in several countries including yours you still have the right to ride your bike and freely express yourself on pink bike. Look up this little event called world war 1, world war 2 and the Cold War. I agree that the U.S is not perfect but I love my country and my comment was a response to a very nasty comment about the U.S.

That's what the United states was. What is it now? Please do the right thing this coming election. Politics and big business in the states needs a divorce. Bring goverment regulation back to wall st. Lots of plusses going for the u.s. A great neighbor to have though!
  • 2 1
This beer really sucks. It has so much rice in it that actually you can't call it beer anymore!!! I think Stone Ruination, or Ninkasi Total Domination, or Firestone Double Jack would have made a better shock :-)

Despite the fact that rice beer doesnt match with huge 360's....

Imperial IPA does!!!
  • 3 2
 @endlessblockades
you sir, don't know shit about beer. I live in St. Louis, MO. Where Budweiser is from. Even have family that works at the brewery. Budweiser is shit and I will never touch that garbage again. Budweiser was a thing of adolescence. When I "buy locally", it's 4Hands brewing hands down! They're owned by some awesome people who are all about bikes, local, sustainability and all that good mess. Oh yeah, and one of the 4Hands is a Lemp.
  • 3 1
All lager is pretty bad IMO. Can't beat a nice draught bitter!
  • 3 0
@ReverseKanga as we say it, "Fosters, Australian for diarrhea."
  • 2 0
@lirch1 Don't get all turnt, dog. Keep occasionally sipping your local craft brew (I can't flick a used syringe without hitting a submicro brewery in my hood), and try not to get trolled too hard. This is all in good fun. I drink everything, and a LOT more of it for a LOT longer than 90% of the people on here, but when occasional beer drinkers start yappin about how cheap thin lager has no place in the USA they come off as elitist snobs who get phone-jacked at night. Getting on the Bud-Sucks bandwagon is just a red flag for 'Hater'.
  • 3 1
Can drinking beer make you wiser? Well it made Bud-weiser!!!!!!!!!

it's in Creston BC and is now owned by labatt. I live right near there. You can have all the doubts you want, it won't save you from being an idiot. You're from ontario and arguing about shitty bc beer to a local. I prefer cariboo even. At least cariboo plants trees for every can of beer they sell and are cheaper than kokanee. Have fun drinking your goat piss at premium prices!

New bike for under $45.00

Come on guys, the paint job might not be for everyone, but it's for a charity ffs. Also how come no one gets upset when Gwin paints his bike like this, or Minnaar (yes I know its for world champs but still the same concept). Personally I think the paint job is kinda cool.

Trail building passes for charity? I mean, it's for a rad cause (pun intended)... but this isn't to actually help anyone in real need.

I'll toss in $25 just for shits and giggles... but at the same time, it seems weird to donate money to something there is literally nearly zero information available on.

I checked out the website, and there's nothing, at all, about where they'll operate, who they'll be working with, how they'll lend support. This ad actually has the most information available currently, and it sounds like the kind of talk me and my buddies get into as we drink beers after a ride. Seems like something they might want to consider at least explaining in some degree of detail before asking the community for donations? Maybe it's just me...

No way would I ride a bike with the American Flag on it (no offence to Americans, just not my style) and it would be a waste to have it sat doing nothing. Best to raise extra funds for the cause and let someone own it who can enjoy it as a bike and a paint job.
