Who am I?

Hello

I am Robby. I was born in 1986 in Belgium and I spent most of my youth in France until the age of 16. Since then, I've been living back in Belgium. I have been cycling a lot at times and not at all at others. I have always enjoyed riding a bike, as it gave me freedom. As a kid I rode in the streets of the villages I grew up in. When I was old enough to visit other cities, I jumped on the bike and started pedaling. Nothing could stop me. The past two summers, I rode a fatbike through Germany, France and Luxemburg. It's the passion for cycling and the escape of society that got me going. Even since I got a car, the meaning of cycling hasn't really changed to me. I still feel more free on two wheels, rather than on four, especially since I discovered bikepacking / touring.

Though I like riding my bikes alone, I can never thank my friends who also ride bikes enough, as they pushed me and motivated me to keep on going. This thank you is also valid for everyone who motivated me though videos and photos, and the cycling community in general. So thank you, Pinkbike, too. I hope I have inspired some people aswell to go out and ride and I will surely try to do that in the future.

Here's a word cloud of the things I enjoy. What I don't like is not important, so let's focus on what I like:
