Nino is awesome no doubt about it. But someone else we seem to not mention enough who just made history and deserve recognition is Pauline Ferrand-Prévot won this year UCI World championship in Road, Cyclo-cross and XC. This quite of a achievement!
She will probably end up with a webseries or at least a one off video detailling her exploits. How about Nino though, what a star! I love watching him ride!
Totally! Nino is such a smooth and skilled rider to look at. He just flows thru anything. That's also another reason why he is so fast! Composed and flawless riding make you faster then aggressive riding and Nino is the perfect example of that.
Ive always been under the impression that XC guys ride with no more than 100mm travel Setups but to me Nino's fork looks A lot longer than 100mm. I don't suppose anyone can confirm his set up. Maybe this is why he's always got an advantage in the descents. Anyway, sick rider all round and can't wait to see him on game next season.
Im pretty sure that is 100mm but the bridge on those dt swiss forks is on the back side so more of the eggs are exposed from the front side that could be why you think it looks like it has longer travel
In my view stories of success in dh, fr, dj and ss are usually much more dramatic and emotional. Suppose it's because of larger fraction of mental game in "extreme" disciplines: you have to fight a bigger bunch of your internal demons. Anyway, this is only my opinion, don't want to ruffle feelings of cross-country fans in no case, Nino is a great athlete no doubt.
but can he nae nae?
