Well, FREERIDEDUB, guess you have to say that to the writer...who clearly pointed out "An extensive look at the highlights from this important South American race".....geez...there is really smartass people, but clearly don't look into the details...

Opinion: Mitch Ropelato Wins Fontana DH On a 29er Trail Bike
Does anybody have the maths of the track...lenght, vertical descent, gradient, ect...just by looking at that, you can tell straight out how the bike will play a define roll...

Unsanctioned Races - For Amateurs Only?
No, they can attend to those events...they are not preventing the riders...they are pushing organizers to get aligned to the UCI rules...as far as I know, DH1, Enduro Series are UCI sanctioned, or at least in each country where will be held will be sanctioned by their own federation, hence they have UCI approval...

Unsanctioned Races - For Amateurs Only?
This is not only for USA Cycling...this applies to all the world....say, I have a race down here in Costa Rica, UCI Rules are not meant for one single country...and this is not USA Cycling rule either, this is our global governing body, hence, you will need to have your federation approval to come here to race, or viceversa, hence, if the race is not sanctioned, the federation more than likely will revoke you the approval to race there....

I think the theory of Protour is being taking a little too far, BUT.....you all need to get your sources outside of the DH world only so you can see the entire field...I would agree with Protour in a 70% on this theory, since we all know how religious Gwinn is, hey, why not this is not the main, but a great porcentage of the decision he took to jump ships...?

Aaron Gwin: Karma vs Drama
I have to agree with Protour, common, why the XC side or the road side of this sport gets highlines (at least in our sport aka village)...? Because this type of stuff is written by journalist, they know that in terms for this to be on the hype, they need discusions...how do you get people to discussions? Well, by doing this, controversy, opinions and more opinions...Just like Protour said, at the end of the day, everybody will go to be and pee their pants while dreaming they can get this attention...to the companies, is "free" advertising, for the riders, is to be in the spot in a sport that is only lasting 4-5months of the year.... Our sport needs badly real journalism...those that can get out and find stories where you have no clue they are, so people get on it....

Did Gwin Breach His Contract With Trek World Racing?
For sure, with a FOX on the demo, I think the frame will have some things change in the geometry...because FOX40 tend to hit pretty bad the head of the frame, so, I think that is one thing specialized have bad, that is pretty much for Boxxer suspensions...
