Every year, we get stand-out artists to create the RockShox Totem line of sticker packs. This time we're asking YOU to lend your talents to get a chance to create the next official RockShox Totem Sticker Pack that will show up on cars, bikes and helmets across the globe. HOW TO ENTER

- Download the vector graphic for a stock 2012 RockShox Totem - Download Here

- Download the artwork from the RockShox Totem Sticker pack No. 5 - Download Here

- Create your own design on the Totem template using your own graphics and utilizing some elements from Sticker Pack #5 (above)

- Entries can be created using mixed media (digital or analog), however, all entries must be submitted electronically as JPGs. This is the 21st century — just ask your mom to scan it for you.

- Uploaded to the "RockShox Design-it-Yourself Contest" Photo category on Pinkbike.

 CarlosMC the contest is for the design itself. If your creating a vector design or high-res raster image the design can be resized to fit accordingly by Sram/Rockshox for final production. And they will probably make various sizes of each decal in the sticker pack anyway.

 I miss understood the contest details. You just have to make a design for the totem photo. The designer who wins goes on to design the actual sticker pack. So nobody has to worry about templates or actual sizes.

 Ive just downloaded the template, opened up Photoshop and away i went Smile I dont think a lot of thinking about the size and stuff needs to happen right now, maybe later when they ask the winner for the design, and besides, the winner designs the 2013 decal, so its a whole year (little less for production) to make it all right...

 the funny thing about this is it doesn't take artistic skill to copy, paste and move around different pictures in editors. id be nice to see more people taking a pencil, various acrylic inks, etc. to draw out and make designs.

 Try it then. I think you'll realize it takes more artistic skill that you thought. The medium doesn't matter. Whether it's a pencil, brush, mouse or tablet, it's the idea that matters. The tool you use to express those ideas is irrelevant.

 Dear PinkBike & Rock Shox, When I click on the vector graphic link to download it, using a Mac with Safari, I get only a grey screen in my browser. The same is true for the sticker pack link. What is needed to rectify this issue? Your response is greatly appreciated. Cheers!

 The only thing I wondered is a scale of Totem photo and sticker pack. When I open the Totem template, it’s 300dpi, but it doesn’t have the right measures. Is the sticker pack proportional to Totem template? Or it doesn’t matter it is or not proportional? Thanks

 just make a doodle and then trace it and then color it on a fresh sheet of paper. Scan it and send it in. If you win Sram/Rockshox guys will take care of the computer side of things

 Ignore sadistic, he's just being a cynic. Simply follow my 4 step system for guaranteed success!

Step 1: Buy adobe illustrator and any other design software you want to use.
Step 2: When your computer is inevitably unable to run the software, buy a new computer that meets the minimum system requirements.
Step 3: Find a graphic design course running over summer and complete several years of college and degree level learning within about a month
Step 4: Within about the week you'll have remaining before the competition deadline, find some inspiration and perfect your winning design, beating hundreds of qualified, talented graphics artists from around the world!

 Hopefully both. You are supposed to create a design that not only incorporates the stickers and themes in the sticker pack but includes some original material. this will be judges by favorites views comments and then put into a group of top ten. That will then be voted on by pb users and the winner will work with rockshox to design a sticker pack using original material. I'm not going to whore a link, but if you would like to see what I concider a good example, I have my entry set as my pod on my profile.

 You'll need adobe illustrator or fireworks or anything else that can open .ai files. You can buy them at local computer shop. Unless you can get them some other way...
