Slightly upset i spent time editing a "decent" AMATEUR vid for this competition. I adhered to the rules and am in no way a professional. But it sucks when the rules apparently mean nothing and professional videos are allowed into the top 5.... not even gonna start with number 4... oh well

Its funny that Avid said that the winning video won because of "concept of chasing trail" I didn't see any evidence of that in the video.

So true.....why have rules? The winning video was awesome. A+ on vid quality and style, but D+ on focusing on the topic of what it means to be chasing trail. Ride a bike, hit some jumps, drink a beer........chasing trail???? That sounds like EVERYONE'S CHASING TRAIL....which makes it unoriginal and lacking purpose/meaning etc etc.

Also, great pro production work, awesome riding and effects, but was waaaay over 2:00min long...... epic fail. Why even have rules if you're just going to break them? It's not fair to all those who played by the rules and made their video only 2 minutes!!

Avid/Sram what a let down. This contest is a joke. This is not the video creator/director/producer's fault. I applaud all those who entered this contest but shame on Avid/Sram on doing a horrible F- job on their end.

Free brakes is super rad! There are plenty of criticisms to make over this contest... Avid certainly didn't do anything close to a professional job of adhering to their own contest policy (ie videos going over the time limit, being 2 days late with a decision). But that's their issue completely! Hopefully in the future companies take a bit more time and care into their contests!

1st off, winning vid is very cool. But, for what the production cost proly was, including editing software, the cameras involved, etc; they proly could have just BOUGHT that bike. lol.

I just received my brakes from Avid and when I went to install them I noticed that the rear mount adapter was the incorrect one...Hopefully they will send me the correct one once I contact them!
