Peaty wasn't lying when he said it'd been a hectic couple of weeks since the first UCI World Cup round.

Starting with the annual pilgrimage to the Scottish Six Day Trial with James Dabill, then onto the Swiss Alps with Claudio Calouri to scout a new World Cup track for 2015...

All of this was perfect training for Peaty's home race, 'Steel CIty Downhill', the world biggest/smallest downhill race.
An amazing weekend, with a huge turnout... did Steve take his 4th win in a row?

There was no sign of Steve Peat on the track today. With inhibiting back pains his time was spent on tables in the offices of proffessionals and the Syndicate pits.

When you think Australia, you think dry, baron and dusty. Cairns was certainly the opposite, which made for a memorable week of both racing and off the bike adventures.

Josh Bryceland keeps nipping at that 1 spot and we keep saying it won t be long until he s finally there

 Imagine if he'd started chatting away to ratboy and having a laugh when the national anthem is playing, he would have had a load of flack for being disrespectful.....he had a bit of a smile on but kept it formal as it should be!  Gee is clearly not at home to Senor Banter, is he? I can understand that a certain level of seriousness is required from those athletes at the top of their sport - but he's not at the start gate, he's standing on the podium having just won the bleedin' race!
