I started mountain biking in Minnesota which is where my family is from. This year in 2016 I moved to Colorado and have started to pursue downhill mountain biking. There's not much in Minnesota as far as downhill but in Duluth there's at least one good place. My Superfly was a great bike in Minnesota because it's very sandy here and there's not much as far as rocks go but it's definitely time to upgrade.

Santa Cruz Hightower C Very Low Miles

$3000 USD
Hey, I got this bike late last spring. I thought I had wanted a nice XC bike to replace my hard tail, but turns out what I really wanted was a downhill bike. I ended up purchasing a Scott Gambler as well, and this poor Hightower sat in my basement almost the entire summer being unused. I'd say there's no more than 50 miles on this bike. One trip out to Fruita last summer and a couple random trips locally, but not much at all. I really need to lighten my life, which means this bike needs to go. I am willing to ship within the US if the buyer pays shipping and gives me about a week to get a box and pack it up. Specs: 2018 Santa Cruz Hightower C Size: L Rear Shock: Fox Float DPS EVOL Front Shock:Rockshox Revelation Grips: ESI Chunky Brakes: SRAM Level T Pedals: Crank Bros Stamp with Crank Guards Dropper Post: Race Face Aeffect Derailer: SRAM NX 1x11 Bars: Race Face Paint: White w/ Blue Santa Cruz Overall the paint is in great condition. Right side of the bike just under the pivot going from the front to rear frame there is a scratch, seen in the pictures. Several other little marks from riding but overall in really great condition. Please scrutinize pics for more detail. The orange Mr. Black at the bottom of the frame is just a vinyl decal which will be removed upon sale. Last year I had my rear shock serviced by Fox and they changed the shim kit inside for a little heavier rider. I'm around 200lbs and the shock failed on my first ride of the summer. It leaked shock fluid and they fixed it under warranty. Local pickup is available too, Littleton, Colorado.

Kawasaki Ninja 650 ER6n trade for DH Mtb

$3500 USD
I have a 2009 Kawasaki ER6n I would like to trade for a downhill mountain bike. This is a Ninja 650r but called an er6 because it has half fairings. Otherwise it's the exact same bike. It has nearly new tires and a new chain just installed this year. The paint is a custom orange with a really nice flake added in the paint. In the sun the bike really glistens and sparkles. The headlight is a custom twin top bottom that puts out a lot of light. Mechanically this bike is excellent. I bought this bike three years ago because my CBR 954 needed a transmission swap and the company I bought parts from shipped to the wrong stuff which I didn't realize until the bike was completely disassembled and the gears weren't meshing up right. So this bike was bought because that bike was going to be out of commission for a month waiting for new parts and I needed to get back on the road because winter in Minnesota is long and very depressing and spring had just come around. Once the CBR was up and running again this bike basically went into hibernation so for the last two years it hasn't even been ridden basically at all. It's been stored in a garage your round. I bought this bike from an auction and have rebuilt it back up (all cosmetics). I have thorough before pics so you can see the damage before it was repaired. Title is no longer a salvage title as this is removed with motorcycles in Minnesota. I'm moving to Denver in a couple weeks and would rather not have to store this bike here in Mpls at my parents house. I'm looking for a nice Trek or Specialized downhill bike. Must be worth at least 3300+/- as it's used price. Open to other brands as well as I know there are many super good brands who are downhill specific.
