Pivot Firebird 275 - 160 Millimeter All-Mountain Shredder
The guts of the bike is getting a bit old now. Props to pivot for *almost futureproofing a bike made about 4 years ago. In that time head angles have got slacker. I would like to see pivot rock a whole new firebird. I love mine, it's a lot more dh than a lot of current AM bikes, but I still get to the top. Maybe not the best move to spec a 34 with all the issues. Just wondering who makes a 135mm hub spaced 650b wheelset.

Couldn't you hammerschmidtheads add an alfine hub? Then have 16 gears or something? Or better still, a belt drive hammerschmidt and Alfine hub. Would be super (Über?) quiet too.

What about the Megavalanche? Lots of pros both xc and dh race that too. Seriously UCI, doing their best to divide and conquer. Strangling 4X, inept promotion of track racing, contempt with DH/XC/BMX. People go to the races to watch the racing, or race themselves. These asshats that turned a blind eye to the disgrace that is pro road racing should all go. NOBODY on 2 wheels is better off with the UCI.

i dont comment a heap here on PB, but that was one of the best videos i have seen.
Well... like a hyperactive 13 year old who missed a dose of Ritalin, we too lost focus and completely failed in our mission. So what we are left with is an edit of us chasing around Evil World Cup rider Luke Strobel and wasting our only sunny weekend of winter... hope it was worth it...
hell yes it was worth it!! mad skills the way he throws that bike around. loved it.
